Very well thought out rooms which had everything we needed. All the furniture, fittings and toiletries were top notch. The lobby is very nice as well with many types of beverages and snacks. The breakfast is excellent traditional Japanese food. They took care of our dietary restrictions as well. The photos do not do justice to this place. The hospitality was excellent. It is a little on the expensive side, but everything was great and our stay was relaxing. Definitely our best stay in Japan.

We had a very local experience which is very unique for us, get away from the big city and be in the fish village, they recommend you a lot of activities which is amazing. They are local people that they know everyone and they recommend restaurants give you a great local experience with local price. The fish is amazing. The room is very clean and you can also use the bike in the B&B for free.

The ryokan is located in a geothermal area, with a number of hot springs nearby for guests to relax in. The facilities were so perfectly clean and well well maintained and well equipped, especially the Onsen We stayed in a traditional Japanese room and loved it, including the futons to sleep on the floor The staff was extremely attentive, helpful and friendly. The dinner experience was the highlight of our Japan trip and I can only recommend it!

What we loved the most was the kindness and hospitaly of the family that owns the Ryokan. They were so welcoming and nice! In each roomed they offered the guests delicious green tea. They also took the time to give us a lot of great tips and helped us make a reservation for the ninja temple! I highly recommend staying there if you are lucky enough to find a room ;)

The western breakfast was subpar in comparison. I would have loved to have had some homemade jam with my bread. Usually western breakfast does not need olive oil with their bread. Olive oil for dipping is more of a lunch/dinner option.

All rooms are fitted with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and a fridge. Yukata robes are provided. The staff is amazing! Very helpful and kind! The food was delicious. The onsen is authentic and a must! It was a unique Japanese experience!
