The place is absolutely beautiful my room was amazing, the private garden was very well kept, futons are spotless. Afternoon tea and sweets were delicious.

It provides a tour desk and a bar on the ground floor. Free WiFi is available in all areas. Really enjoyed experiencing the ryokan vibe! Loved that we were provided with yukatas to wear during our stay. The private bath was also a bonus feature!

Free Wi-Fi access is available at the entire property. Everything has been amazing! A full immersion in Japanese culture! The staff is kind and considerate, the rooms directly from a movie, the dinner delicious. We felt welcome from the first minute to the last. Our host was lovely: she took very well care of us. She made sure to satisfy our needs and requests in such a kind and professional way. This warm, welcoming behavior was far beyond what we could expect, and it was absolutely excellent.

Some units in the ryokan have private entrance and are equipped with wardrobe and tatami. Units are complete with a private bathroom, while certain units at the ryokan also provide guests with a seating area. The hotel is so beautiful and peaceful you almost don't want to leave. The staff were very welcoming and made us feel at home. We had the shabu shabu dinner and 2 Japanese style breakfasts which were cooked right in front of us by the lovely staff who we really enjoyed talking to. The location was only a 10 minute walk from Kyoto station but in a relatively quiet location, which was very much appreciated after the busy tourist spots of Kyoto. I couldn't recommend this hotel enough and we will definitely be returning if we are ever in Kyoto again.

This 4-star ryokan offers a lift and free shuttle service. There is a restaurant serving Japanese cuisine, and free private parking is available. Everything was top notch, from accommodation to the very friendly and helpful staff. Object has shuttle bus that will take you to JR Kameoka which is great way to get back to Kyoto. Much recommended
