Very good standard of accommodation, very spacious clean room and toilet with all required amenities. The open air Onsen too was a lovely experience and had a very good standard. The Japanese garden was also nice. We booked for that Ryokan experience on our holiday and we most certainly enjoyed our stay which was very comfortable.

We had a long day of hiking in the pouring rain which just kept on coming. Once we got to our room, we decided we're not going anywhere after a change of clothes (to the robes we had in our room). It was a lovely realization that we could book massages, enjoy the Japanese spa and have dinner under one roof. So we just did all that. Everything was perfect: The spa was magical, I sat there in the steaming hot outdoor bath alone while the rain is pouring and just closed my eyes thinking I'm in heaven... the massage was one of the best we've ever experienced, it was done while fully clothed so without the oily feeling after! And the dinner.. One of the best ones we had during our entire 3-city trip. We had to wait a bit and the kitchen was closing but they managed to fit us in just before the closing and we were so happy and content with the entire experience. Finally, our room was a very traditional one, futons on the tatami and a little table with a tea set and a sweet treat which was a great addition to the experience.

Featuring a lift, this property also provides guests with Blu-ray player. The ryokan also offers facilities for disabled guests. I was the tour guide of a group of 10. I have chosen the Ryokan randomly and was the best choice I would have taken. 100% recommend it and will come back again with another group.

The rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV. All rooms include a private bathroom with a bath and bidet, with bathrobes and slippers provided. For your comfort, you will find free toiletries and a hairdryer. Luck You Kyoto features free WiFi throughout the property. A great experience at a traditional Japanese inn. Staff and service were beyond expectations. And they were wonderful with our children (9 & 12yo). They also setup the futons for us while we were out for dinner. We really wished we stayed more than one night - we will be back!

It provides a tour desk and a bar on the ground floor. Free WiFi is available in all areas. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a pretty good location with lots of restaurants nearby. 10-12 mins walk from bus stop or train station which is reasonable. Shower was good and futon bed comfortable. There's a lounge area where you can have food and chat.

Seikoro Ryokan is located in Kyoto, a 7-minute drive from JR Kyoto Station. Featuring traditional Japanese-style accommodation, it offers a public bath and massage services. Free Wi-Fi access is available at the entire property. It’s a very old Ryokan but it is well maintained. It has its own public bath so you get to experience it without an added cost and it is very convenient. Our room had its own bath too. The dinner was very good, every dish served was good. The Japanese lady who served us was very kind and attentive. I also liked the garden view from the room. The train station is nearby.

The beautiful decor, authentic experience with the irori bbq made in front of you was incredible. Everything was delicious, with strong attention to detail giving you a humble luxury that feels typically Japanese. The room was simply gorgeous and the bed incredibly comfortable. The complementary items (late night soba, stocked fridge) made it even more special and intentional.

An exceptional ryokan with outstanding service and incredibly polite staff. The atmosphere is peaceful, cozy, and very private. Our room with a private onsen was absolutely amazing, and the kaiseki dinner was unforgettable — truly a culinary experience.
