Massage service is also provided at a surcharge. Luggage storage is offered, while laundry service is offered at an additional charge. Room is spacious - we stayed in the Family Room at the new wing (family of 5 adults). Very thoughtful housekeeping everyday. Breakfast is those served Japanese style. Onsen was a little small and basic but good enough. It takes culture and good etiquette for everyone to enjoy onsen.

Some units in the ryokan have private entrance and are equipped with wardrobe and tatami. Units are complete with a private bathroom, while certain units at the ryokan also provide guests with a seating area. The hotel is so beautiful and peaceful you almost don't want to leave. The staff were very welcoming and made us feel at home. We had the shabu shabu dinner and 2 Japanese style breakfasts which were cooked right in front of us by the lovely staff who we really enjoyed talking to. The location was only a 10 minute walk from Kyoto station but in a relatively quiet location, which was very much appreciated after the busy tourist spots of Kyoto. I couldn't recommend this hotel enough and we will definitely be returning if we are ever in Kyoto again.

Staff members were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious!

An exceptional ryokan with outstanding service and incredibly polite staff. The atmosphere is peaceful, cozy, and very private. Our room with a private onsen was absolutely amazing, and the kaiseki dinner was unforgettable — truly a culinary experience.

(it's​ a part of the temple, you can observe morning prayer.). very near to center of Ine and bus stop. fridge, snacks, tea. suitable if you plan for a relaxing, no rush trip to spend a slow pace to enjoy this place and Ine.
