Staff was very friendly and easy to talk to, and the inn made for a great stay. Also the sentō baths were a welcome addition and were nice for relaxing into! The area is calm (for which the only downside is that there isn't a lot of choice for restaurants around), close to transportation and good for sightseeing around Mastushima — we took the sightseeing ferry around the bay and had a great time.

Tokinenoyado Yunushi Ichijoh is situated in the Kamasaki Onsen district in Shiroishi, a 15-minute drive from Shiroishi Station and Shiroishi-Zao Station. The staff were incredibly accommodating, their care and attention made our visit relaxed and joyful, the Kaiseki was excellent and well balanced, showcasing local delicacies and providing an excellent view into tradition. Being able to use the Onsen with a tattoo and not having to cover it up was a pleasant surprise, the Onsen was excellent and very clean (I only used the outside pool). We were picked up by their free shuttle bus at the Shinkansen station and dropped off as well. We have to thank all of the staff, but a special mention should be given to Meguro, who took great care of us.

Beautiful property. Wonderful staff. All very helpful and friendly. The public baths were wonderful. Outside baths were 2 different scenarios, one was gorgeous with five separate river rock soaking areas overlooking the river and forest, the other was 1 wooden tub in a small pavilion. Women have the beautiful spot afternoon/evening and swap with the men in the morning. Our room was very large and comfortable with a balcony and private soaking tub. The buffet style dinner and breakfast were delicious. Huge variety of freshly prepared foods. All you could eat and drink, beer, wine, various alcohol, sake, in the restaurant. The reception area had a piano, wood burning central fireplace to sit around. There were small tables with various board games, a library, snacks, beer and wine. Comfortable seating overlooking the hillside that was lit up at night. Very romantic spot to go for a special night.

Dieser Ryokan – in bester Lage gelegen im Bezirk Kamasaki Onsen – befindet sich 49 km von Sendai City Community Support Center, 47 km von Stätte der Burg Sendai und 48 km von Zuihoden entfernt. Everything was perfect! Dinner and breakfast were so delicious. We had a wonderful experience of Japanese entertainment such as onsen, wearing yukata and sleeping on futon.

The onsen facilities are clean and heavenly. There was a private onsen in my room and I enjoyed it ALOT.

And Ms. 橫山道子 - She is SUPER FRIENDLY!!! 🙏 I am very happy and grateful for my 一期一會 in 竹泉莊！

We booked a half board accommodation, include buffet breakfast and dinner, afternoon light snack with free flow of drinks. Huge room with good view. Onsen is spectacular. hotel staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Free hotel shuttle bus to Sendai station, need to book in advance.

She had written out a welcome with basic information in Spanish for me, as my reservation shows it as country of origin. The room is comfortable, complete with towel and pyjamas, plus a water kettle and cup with teabags. If you're on foot, it's 27 min to Ishinomaki station and 18 min to Haneda station- the latter gets you the Matsushima-Kaigan.
