Featuring great views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, Konanso boasts natural hot spring baths and large Japanese-style rooms with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring. It is only a 2-minute walk from a ferry stop, where guests can board sightseeing cruises. Free WiFi is offered in all areas. From the moment I got the keys to the room, I felt how luxurious this hotel is! The staff showed us the room, told us everything about our stay, and made tea for us, which felt like a mini ceremony, it was great! The view from the hotel roof is gorgeous with the foot bath onsen that makes it even better!! The private onsen is also very recommended if you want to go with your partner together with a romantic view :) The dinner was a real show and masterpiece, each day it was different, and it was a huge experience to us (although we don't eat much of the foods we got, we still tried them) It really felt like a 3 Michelin stars restaurant private dinner!) And lastly, there is a free shuttle to the kawaguchiko station, which was really good and we felt like VIPs on it! :)

The air-conditioned rooms at Hotel Asafuji have Shoji paper screens and a low table with floor chairs and cushions. Each room includes a fridge, private toilet, and guests bathe at the hot-spring baths. Japanese-style futon bedding on a tatami (woven-straw) floor is provided. Yukata robes are offered for guests. The staff was just great, the kindness and the way they tried to accomodate any request made them the most warm and kind staff we have ever met in our three weeks trip in Japan! My wife is vegan so she could not eat the same meal with me but they were happy to offer her what they could at the table (beverages) while I was eating. The room is a bit outdated but to be honest is not a big problem. The meals were just fantastic, little to add here. High quality good, great amount, every dish was explained at its best. I would defined recommend a stay here!

To hotel is just a short walk away from the lake with the most beautiful view onto Mt Fuji. The hotel had plenty of parking and the whole building was spotless. Free WiFi is available throughout the entire property. The hotel is a minutes' walk away from the shores of Kawaguchiko and Kawaguchiko Herbkan. We had a very pleasant stay at Kawaguchiko Lakeside Hotel, the staff was very kind and helpful at all times. The location was very convenient, near to the sightseeing bus line stop which made even easier to move around. Our room had an amazing view to the Mt. Fuji and all of the amenities made our stay really comfortable. For sure we’ll stay there again in a next visit.
