We had a wonderful stay in kamekamehouse! They were so very accommodating and such nice hosts. The breakfast and dinner was absolutely fantastic. Their pets are also super cute, the little fluffy dog running around and Tebichi the pig upstairs. The location is also amazing, just a few minutes walk away from Aharen Beach. It was very convenient. We are looking forward to coming back here :-)

Ce séjour était super on n'avait plus envie de repartir ! Shizuka san était super sympa et nous a donné plein de conseils pour visiter l'île. Les deux petites chèvres Emma et Linda ainsi que Flipper le chat étaient trop mignons :) nous étions au mois de janvier mais on ne s'est pas ennuyé c'était super ! J'ai envie de revenir en été.

The owners and family are beyond sweet and helpful. They even lended me a beach towel and shorts for me to go to the beach since I didn’t have any with me, and even let me do some groceries after picking me up from the bus stop! The sweetest hosts I’ve encountered on my travels! Highly recommend staying with them 🩷

Situé sur l'île d'Ishigaki, dans la région d'Ishigaki, à 200 mètres de la baie de Kabira, le Joya dispose d'une terrasse bien exposée. Un parking privé est disponible gratuitement sur place. This hotel is in a very convenient location. I was able to enjoy Kabira Bay again and again because it was so close. Also, there is a bus stop right across the street. On top of that, the owner is very kind and friendly. I had a great stay.

Staying at Minshuku Irayoi was a wonderful experience. The property is clean, charming, and a short walk from the bus stop and Shiraho beach, full of marine life. Free shower and laundry soap, washing machine and tumble dryer are also available, which is convenient. Outstanding meals prepared by one of the minshuku owners, who is also a local artist. Do make time for a chat with her and her husband, who are happy to provide tips and recommendations for things to do in the area, and who facilitate conversation with other guests if staying for meals. Chances are you will spend a lovely evening getting to know fellow travellers around drinks and music. Stay at Irayoi if you're interested in learning about real Ishigaki life and culture!
