This place is magnificent, beautifully located in the forest, right next to a river and a waterfall. The staff were superb, friendly and professional. We had a private onsen in our room, which was the best we’ve ever had - open air with a stunning forest view. The dinner was amazing and delicious. The ryokan also had a marshmallow BBQ station!

Very peaceful night, which was required after a day cycling on one of the world’s least comfortable and stable bicycles!!

For more relaxation, it has a sauna and a games room, while massages can be arranged. Very kind host, Yummy foods, and the restaurant was clean. We're happy the host shared with us a song and enjoyed the meal that they served. Happy to meet a guy from Hong Kong and he told us about the traditional foods of the area.

We had the half board option, and we had amazing dinner and breakfast of local produce. Very attentive hotel staff. Great onsen. The room we got was massive and clean. Love that there is free parking.
