SOKI ATAMI features a sauna and a hot spring bath, as well as air-conditioned accommodation in Atami, 1.7 km from Atami Sun Beach. This 4-star ryokan offers a 24-hour front desk and a lift. There is a restaurant serving Japanese cuisine, and free private parking is available. I liked literally everything. The staff was extra polite, optional kaiseki and breakfast were exceptional meals, and I'd really recommend going for it. View was excellent, as were amenities like craft beers in the suite, and different kinds of sweets. And the best part is bath, or baths, to be exact. Taking the hot spring bath in open air in the breezy night is kind of a lifechanging experience

A bar can be found on-site. The ryokan is located in a geothermal area, with a number of hot springs nearby for guests to relax in. We enjoyed our stay in traditional Japanese ryokan. For us it was a first experience and we truly could feel the relaxing atmosphere and hospitality. Traditional Japanese breakfast is very interesting to try, it’s more like a ceremony and restaurant’s stuff is extremely nice and professional. The location is also good, it’s a short walk to Shuzhenji walking area. The hotel has a nice landscape, every house has its own privacy.

My mum, who is Japanese but lives in Australia, wanted to enjoy Japanese food & the presentation, variety and well thought out menu was amazing We came for her 96th b/day & the main reasons mum wanted to come to Japan was to eat Japanese food We weren’t disappointed The presentation was amazing- they do say with Japanese food, you eat with your eyes 1st. It was definitely the best Japanese dishes ever that we have had We had Kaseki They offered included pick up/drop off to Atami station which was appreciated We didn’t go out but enjoyed relaxing in our room Watching Japanese TV and movies through VOC that was provided - it made it more enjoyable and the room was very comfortable Having our own Onsen on our balcony was so so enjoyable & relaxing One morning I woke up early and watched the sun riise out of the sea whilst having an Onsen Even my mum could enjoy this Onsen As it was her bday, they offered being able to order a bday cake -& flowers too They also took a photo of us with the cake and surprised us with a framed photo We will remember this trip to Atami Sekaie for years to come A very very special stay!!!

Guests at the ryokan can enjoy a buffet breakfast. There is a coffee shop, bar and lounge.

The ryokan boasts a variety of wellness options, including a public bath, an open-air bath and yoga classes. The area is popular for cycling and hiking, and free use of bicycles is available at this 4-star ryokan. The ryokan has a picnic area where you can spend a day out in the open. AWA Nishi-Izu was a hotel I stumbled upon on Instagram by chance, so I had no expectations, but it turned out to be absolutely wonderful. There are hot springs, delicious tea, and over 20 varieties of sake from different regions of Japan, all of which you can enjoy freely (all-you-can-drink). The most enchanting feature is the garden, where persimmon and mandarin trees are laden with fruit. You can pick them yourself anytime, replenishing your vitamin C while basking in the beauty of nature. The lobby library is stocked with books and magazines about yoga, travel, and more—perfectly aligning with my interests. While the location is quite remote, simply being here and daydreaming is an unparalleled joy. The rooms feature Western-style beds paired with tatami flooring, providing a spacious and comfortable setting. The hotel offers a variety of amenities, including different types of tea, coffee, yukata, skincare products, and more, all available for self-service. On the second floor, there’s a meditation and yoga room, while the first floor houses the hot spring baths. The staff here are incredibly friendly; despite their limited English, they go out of their way to provide attentive service and assistance. The Japanese-style breakfast was a delightful surprise, featuring my favorite grilled fish and miso soup, along with fresh vegetable salad sourced from local farmers and a selection of fermented healthy condiments. Every bite reflected thoughtful preparation and the authentic flavors of the region.
