There's nothing much around it, but everything you need is inside - restaurant, shop, vending machines, and of course, the onsen. Our room was large, with a view over the river. The restaurant had many options for dinner and was inexpensive, and the food was delicious. The included breakfast was also great.

We had a good size room with a beautiful view of the ocean. the onsen also faced the ocean, so in the morning it was wonderful. A few minutes walk to the Otsuka museum. The half board was good, lots of fresh food.
