Ito Ryokan is exactly what I was looking for. The experience of sleeping in a traditional Japanese inn was amazing. They are extremely kind and the attention they give to their guests is spectacular. Located in Tokyo it's convenient for travellers that want to escape a little from the buildings of a busy big city and yet be able to enjoy what the city has to offer. The staff were great as well, I got to have a chat with a lovely lady that told me about the inn story and exchange some stories about my own country and the experience I'd had in japan and some more inside from Japanese culture from a native. I'd strongly recommend this place if you're visiting Japan.

Guests can choose to stay in rooms with Japanese futon bedding on tatami (woven-straw) floors or in rooms with Western beds on wooden floors. A fridge and an electric kettle with green tea bags are included in each room. All rooms come with an en suite bathroom with a toilet and shower, while some rooms have a bathtub. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They know English and are willing to help you with anything. They clean the room and give you new towels every day. The toilet is the normal western one, not the Japanese futuristic one but that's ok. The futons are very comfortable. The train station is very close and they have a convenient store close by.

At the ryokan, every unit is fitted with a tatami and a flat-screen TV. There is a private bathroom with bidet in some units, along with slippers, a hair dryer and free toiletries. The units are equipped with heating facilities. Great location next to a small park where locals were having their hanami blossom parties. Comfy futons . Excellent support from staff and little touches like snacks, tea, toothbrush etc in the rooms.

The air-conditioned rooms at Ryokan Annex Katsutaro feature Japanese futon bedding, and each has a TV and fridge. The attached bathroom includes a bathtub. What a gem of a place! Great location, spacious room and an amazing couple running it. They are very helpful and kind and went above and beyond for me when I had an injury. Highly recommend staying here, especially if you want to be in a peaceful location but with easy access to the rest of Tokyo.

Asakusa Subway Station provides direct access to Ueno, Shibuya and Ginza areas, and also to the Narita and Haneda international airports. nice, quiet, comfortable...Very nice and helpful hosts.

Situated 200 metres from Choen-ji Temple, 寅ホテル 御徒町 TORA HOTEL Okachimachi in Tokyo features rooms with air conditioning and free WiFi. It is set 300 metres from Tokaku-ji Temple and offers a lift. The ryokan has family rooms. I liked the staff/ person that I talked to very helpful, also comfortable place with 4 bed, location and aesthetics of the unit especially is a plus if you have kids(girls) they even have toys to play with. Everything you need is in the unit. Location is not bad, and having a stroller and wheelchair it was accessible for us since there’s an elevator in the building, somehow it closes up so quick.

It was located in a nice corner of Asakusa. A bit of a walk and definitely cold during winter. But nice walk nonetheless. Host was superb and so friendly.

For your comfort, you will find bathrobes and slippers. Hanakohro offered a peaceful and comfortable retreat where time and expenses were never a concern. Everything was taken care of, allowing us to fully unwind and enjoy the experience, which included exploring the unique lounges, garden and buildings on the grounds. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding, making us feel at home.
