The perk of the Opera Suites is its central location. Additionally, it has a free gym and quite the view for breakfast, which was generous, varied and a 4-hour window to eat (important for those who wake up late and early). Additionally, my room had an equipped kitchenette, I guess if you're coming for a longer visit, it matters.

Yerevan city center is much like any city center in Europe,...
Yerevan city center is much like any city center in Europe, but is quite small. The area that holds the museums, nicer restaurants, embassies etc. is really only about 2 km radiu7s area, maybe 2.5. Outside of that area, you are in a rough behind the wheel, Russophone, haphazardly organized post-Soviet city that is not comparable to Georgia other than some common foods and drinks. While Georgia has spent 30 years burnishing its European image and credentials, Armenia has not made the slightest attempt to do anything of the sort. The sights of Yerevan can be seen in a day, maybe with a few hours tacked on, thought there are excellent monasteries outside the city. Visit the genocide memorial if you have the stomach for it. I recommend Noravenk which is a two-hour drive away. Partly this monastery is gorgeous on its on, but it is also in the Areni wine country and you will see uniformed Russian peacekeepers buying wine at the local wineries like tourists. You will also see Armenian military convoys frequently, along with memorials to soldiers who have died fighting Azerbaijan over he last 40 years. Armenia basically views the Karabakh an subsequent conflicts as a continuation of the genocide.

Parks and public spaces have been planned so nicely that one can go to these places, relax and enjoy by simply sitting and watching people. All the places were clean. There were good public walkways and people were good. Yandex taxis were good and cheap to use.

Yerevan is beautiful old city.
Yerevan is beautiful old city. Its construction is a bit chaotic, so to find nice places you have to walk a lot, but it is an interesting challenge too. The food is great. I strongly recommend restaurant Urartu on Paroyan street, just in front of Konte, the old part of the city which probably will disappear soon. Vine "Armenia" is strongly recommended! The open marker "Vernisaz" is the best place for shopping of traditional jewellery, carpets, and tableware.
But when you visit the city, please, be careful, there are many scammers in the centre of the city. We were stolen by taxi driver that asked to change a note of 10000 in two of 5000, but after substituted the note of 10000 that I gave him by one of 1000. In the center, there walks a russian "guide" Olga (a slim old blond lady with a face full of wrinkles). She invited us for excursian and stole our money. So, be careful and only buy guides in official places. In general, normal armenians, are very nice and sympathics. Do not lose the opportunity to visit Opera theater. The quality of musicians, singers, and dancers is of high standard and the theater itself is very nice.

A beautiful city with great food and nice markets to explore. It's best if you have a local person to give you tips on underground pubs and cafes. It helps to learn a bit of the language beforehand.

I am absolutely in love with the city!
I am absolutely in love with the city!
The whole country is very lovely. Erivan has a lot to offer: delicious food, trendy places, beautiful views and the most kind and friendly people you'll ever encounter. It's my second visit and I'm already missing Erivan.
You can book interesting tours fairly cheap. Everything is quite close, so you'll be able to visit breathtaking tourist places on the countryside, even if your visit is short.
I was amazed by the number of people able to speak German. Most people are very good at speaking Russian and at the restaurants you'll be provided with English menus. A lot of people speak English very well.
It is hard to describe what's so amazing about Erivan. It's just the feel. I've never felt so comfortable and welcomed. The city has very interesting architecture and such a cozy vibe. Visit Armenia, you will not regret it, I promise.
The place is located close to the shop, supermarket, and in very quite area in the city. Is really close to the city center too. You can easily walking in 5 to 10 minutes to the cascade and fine some good restaurant in the areas. Is clean and have the amenities what you need like public kitchen and etc. Is very comfortable bed and secluded with the screen in each bed, so you can get your own privacy without disturbed by others. The owner is really nice guy. I very recommend this place to anyone that want to stay in yerevan.
Anga was on the cheap site of the better hotels and for that we were prepared to walk a bit to get to the city center. But it was then closer to the Armenian Market and St/ Gregory's cathedral.
Breakfast was typical Armenian. Not may choices and not amazing stuff, but some of the items were nice, like the traditional Armenian cottage cheese. And there was a proper espresso machine!
The room was warm and cozy and there was plenty hot water.
The place is very clean and the price is very reasonable and it is close to the city center, next to Vernasage and the staff are very helpful and friendly, especially Mrs. Melsida whom I thanks her very much , how I felt at home because of the cooperation and constant assistance even in asking about anything in the city, I wish to return to Armenia again to stay in this hotel. My thanks and regards to everyone in this wonderful place
Location is central! Walking distance to almost everything we need to go to near Republic Square. Restaurants and convenience store are near Ramada Hotel. Though they gave us a wrong room category when we checked in, they rectified it within 5 minutes after I called Reception. Room is spacious and clean. Room amenities are good and housekeeping cleans our rooms everyday. Highly recommended hotel in Yerevan!
The location of this Hotel is perfect and maybe the best one in Yerevan, we were also given a very high floor which gave us a direct view to Cascade Complex, Mother of Armenia as well as the beautiful city of Yerevan. It is walking distance from almost everything which is awesome. You have a mini market that has an exchange inside it and stays open till really late and it is few meters away from the Hotel.
This is a brand new hotel, far from the city center which makes it really QUIET. I enjoyed the view to the older city part, so natural and cozy. Air conditioning worked fine, this is really important in Armenia. The bed was comfortable as well. There is a good grocery nearby working till late hours. I will come back for sure. Greetings to Ruben helping with a lot of stuff.
I stayed at this hotel for the second time.
The staff was exceptional—friendly, helpful, and quick to address any issues.
I’ll definitely choose this hotel again on my next trip.
The location is amazing, with easy walking proximity to all the good bars, restaurants, and main attractions in Yerevan city center.
Small but very comfortable hotel, very good area in Yerevan, very close to city center and one more imortant thing: the hotel is very close to airport, it takes 20-25 minutes to get there. Nice and helpful staff, ready to help with any situation. 100% recommended for Your one day trip or for Your long stay.
I liked this quiet location away from the noise of the city center. Staffs were friendly and they respond quickly to your needs. Especially Diana at the reception is a excellent staff. Apartment was big and we enjoyed the Tennis court as well. Night view from the hotel was very good.
A new hotel with clean and comfortable rooms. Administrator Lianna is particularly caring and helpful. She does everything to please guests and make them feel like home. If you want to stay in a nice and quiet place away from the noisy city center, this hotel is right for you.
Staff was very polite and hospitable. Breakfast is tasty but menu is pretty simple. Shampoo, gel and hair conditioner were very quality. All the amenities – as described. The hotel is pretty well located - close to the main streets in the city center.
Really excellent hotel located in the city center, they provide good service, room was so clean and beautiful, bedsheets new and fresh, looks like that this is a new hotel.
Next time I will come here again for sure.
Thank you for your hospitality.
Nice hotel with a bit of soviet style, but it's charming.
The location is unique and interesting, very close to the city center, but far enough from the crowds.
I will definitely choose this hotel for my next trip to Yerevan.
Great location. In city center. Everything walking distance (Opera, History Museum, Cascade, Charents House-Museum). Nice places like In Vino and Steakarar Yerevan. Fun activities like KET market and Armenian dance in Opera.
The staff were friendly, especially the receptionist, and very helpful with travelers
In addition to the hotel's location, it was in the city center, everything is around you, and the prices are reasonable
Room and stuff were the best. Location is also outstanding. The breakfast was very-very tasty. In my opinion it's a best hotel in Yerevan and, maybe, in Armenia.
