The location is great, not even 10 mins walk to the Las Canteras beach and many restaurants are also close. The staff is extremely friendly, reception is 24hrs open. The rooftop bar was not open yet in April but we were allowed to go up and take our own drinks. The weather was amazing. The bus stop is just in front of the hotel. The breakfast is great, lots of options to choose from, I really recommend this accommodation.

The Gran Canaria capital, Las Palmas offers everything that the Canaries stand for: year-round sun, fantastic beaches and great nightlife. However, the largest city of this volcanic island group is more than just a beach resort - its mix of traditional and modern makes it stand out from the crowd.
Colourful Colonial façades line Calle Triana, a top shopping street, while the out-of-town Las Arenas shopping complex is much more contemporary in design. The El Muelle shopping centre is near Parque Santa Catalina and the surrounding restaurants, bars and clubs are focal points of Las Palmas nightlife, together with the historic Vegueta district.
Vegueta is also home to Santa Ana cathedral, best viewed from the palm-lined square which houses the Canary Island Museum. Around the corner is the Casa Museo de Colón, where Columbus stayed en route to America. No doubt he sailed from huge Puerto de la Luz whose numerous vessels are guarded by a lighthouse and stone castle.
On the opposite side of the promontory is long Las Canteras beach, lined by a promenade providing great mountain views in both directions. The 5-star hotels by the beach are just some of Booking.com’s Las Palmas accommodation options, alongside cheap guest houses and apartments, all linked by coastal road to Gran Canaria Airport.

The island will definitely appeal to alot of people from all...
The island will definitely appeal to alot of people from all walks - Interestingly the south caters for more touristic attractions and opportunities whilst the centre and north are more historic. The island is accessible via public transport from St. Telmo (bus station) - You'll need to work out the way the busses work (Blue for inter-town, Orange for inside towns) and download the GuaGua app (There's two of them!) - Google Maps helps alot in navigating whilst Apple-Maps is a little sparse on information.
Dont go the route to hire a car - Its not needed and buses are frequent and easily accommodating.
Restaurants are a pick'n'mix re success - Some are great (look for the locals seems a big deal)

Great to walk all over the city.
Great to walk all over the city. The old town and so many beautiful beaches where there are no tourists. They are all on one beach. Positive attitude from everyone I met. Nice to rent a bicycle and travel on excellent bicycle routes throughout the city. Lots of good restaurants. I was there for a month, it felt way too short.

What an island!
What an island! It has an amazing beach - Las Canteras - and amazing places to visit, eat and relax. It is best to rent a car, but you can also use the public buses, which work really well. The taxis are also affordable and reliable. People are friendly, but not overly invasive of your personal space.

Las Palmas is not a particularly pretty town/city; however...
Las Palmas is not a particularly pretty town/city; however the old town of Vegueta is only about 15 minutes on the bus and has both the historic old town with narrow streets, plus the modern shopping street with most of the highstreet shops, and plenty of restaurants and bars.
Las Palmas has many bars and restaurants, as well as the main shopping street Mesa y Lopez, with El Corte Ingles and many more highstreet shops.
There are a couple of indoor shopping centres - one near the Auditorium and one near the port. The Auditorium itself is an interesting building and worth a visit. It looked to have a good programme of concerts too.
There are lots of restaurants and bars on the Canteras promenade but there are also some good ones a block or so back. Lacan (plaza Faray) for pizzas is brilliant but you do have to book, especially at the weekend, and Toma Pan y Moja, which is a small bar on the Canteras promenade is very small and friendly and has some beautiful food and wine. The prawns and the Saharan Calamari are to die for! The bar Ginger further along the promenade serves the best mojitos and La Maravilla a on the next corner does a very good plate of mixed fried fish.

Las Palmas is the biggest city with beaches in canary island...
Las Palmas is the biggest city with beaches in canary island and I found it incredible in terms of culture and mentality. The feeling is like traveling in South America, people are easy fun and open minded. I was there for the carnival closure day and it was amazing. Definitely the best carnival I have ever been, and I have been in quite a few.

Probably the most social hostel I have ever stayed at, without being a party hostel. They have activities for guests most days, and are also well connected to the digital nomad population of Las Palmas, where you can join in even more fun social stuff like beach volley. And they have their own What's App group which makes it even easier to hang out and make friends with other guests. Great rooftop terrace, which closes at 10 pm, so it won't be noisy at late hours, which I think is a good thing.
The hotel was recently remodeled -or it looked like that because the rooms were new, modern and very clean; the bed was comfortsble; and the staff very helpful and friendly.
The hotel is located in front of a big park, next to it is a bus station and taxi stop, super convenient to move around Las Palmas. A couple of blocks away is a popular promenade lined with shops and cafes; also at walking distance, you can reach the sea and historical center.
I would certainly stay again and recommend it.
The room was large, it has a beautiful big bathroom and the bed was very comfortable! The location was perfect for us to do day trips out exploring around the island. The hostess was so nice! The breakfasts were great and the coffee…amazing! It was a nice start to our day! There was lots of information for local services. Parking is an issue in Gran Canaria but parking is available for $5.00 Euros per day on the property which is secure.
This was the most incredible appartment I stayed in Gran Canaria! (I stayed in 5 different apartments over the last 2 years).
- Amazing view, we watched sunset every day
- Sound of the ocean
- Huge terrace
- Fully equipped kitchen
- Very comfortable bed, also very quite at night (which is rare)
- 2 bathrooms, good shower
- Very good location, nearby bus stations and supermarkets
- welcoming and very supportive host! :)
A fantastic place to stay while in Las Palmas.
The location is absolutely perfect - you are just minutes walk from to the beach but not right on it, so at night everything is quiet. There are a lot of restaurants & shops near by.
The apartment was very spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The staff were very helpful with organising taxis.
I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
A perfect place located in a quiet, leafy area of Las Palmas but within walking distance of almost everything. Our room was spacious, light and airy with a really comfortable bed and very clean. Wonderful breakfasts by the pool with an excellant variety of options. Gladys and the staff are really friendly and helpful, with every effort made to ensure a happy holiday. A great find and a great stay!
Spacious apartment in wonderful location. Great view of the sea , the promenade and the auditorium from the balcony. Shopping centre and buses are at the door step. Very quiet and safe residence complex. Ideal base to enjoy and explore Las Palmas. The apartment has all you will possibly need, lots of cooking utensils, even yoga mat. Perfect for holidays. Highly recommend.
This is an amazing house, very spacious and with such a beautiful garden. It felt like a little paradise. The house was furnished at a high comfort level, lots of place to sit, very comfortable beds, kitchen very well equiped, we really loved it.
The communication with our host was excellent. I would definitely book this house again for a next time at Gran Canaria!
Our stay was amazing. The deluxe room was superb, with nice garden view, gorgeous bathroom and the most comfortable bed we slept in in ages. The hotel itself is magnificent, very posh and its facilities are something for everyone. Male sure to have breakfast included as it’s a delicious buffet style. Will definitelly stay here again if we return to Gran Canaria.
Only 2 steps from the beach and the promenade, very clean and comfortable rooms and beds, great breakfast and very very kind staff.
If you want to be in the neighbourhood of locals, it's a great choice to enjoy Las Palmas.
Plus the bar on the eight floor with its view, is great for afternoon and night chill.
Definitely will choose it again for my next stay
Location was central in San Telmo district, across the bus station from the Gran Canaria Airport
It is a fairly big apartment with all the facilities: TV, WIFI, A/C, Fridge, Washer & Dryer,
Cooking facilities, restaurants and supermarkets around the property
Walking distance to the historical center.
The owner Marco was very friendly!! We talked a lot and he gave us many good tips on what we should see in Las Palmas and the whole Gran Canaria. He told us about the history of the building, which is simply amazing and has a special spirit. We really enjoyed our stay there, thank you very much!!!

The accommodation was close to the city beach of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and also supermarkets, cafes, bars were nearby. The staff was quite nice and we could leave the hotel earlier getting our money back without any explanations needed.
