The room was beautiful, with great viewpoints on the property. Breakfast was also really good. There's a really good Mexican restaurant up the street that kept us fed during the day and night.

Very nice staff who gave me two extra blanketts because of the low temperature that night. The bungalow is very simple but good enough for your needs, with fridge and kitchenutensils and coffee for free.

Very nice big room with fireplace, although not properly cleaned when we arrived. Breakfast was good and the property is very nice. Good distance to visit Poas volcano.
Good roads but narrow as usual thru towns. Different landscape with the farms and greenhouses and coffee plantations in rolling hills. Waterfalls.
Loved the drifting clouds coming up the valleys in the evening. Cool evenings and warm days.

We went to La Paz Waterfall gardens and it was an amazing place. You could easily spend an entire day there. Also the area is known for strawberries. We bought some from a roadside stand and they were delicious.

This was a great stopping place for us and is close to La Paz, Poas Volcano, and Doka Coffee Plantation. We stayed here after visiting La Paz Waterfall Gardens (which is worth the cost to visit), and then just had a short drive to Poas the following morning. We only stayed one night, and didn't get to visit the town, but its location is perfect for a stopover while visiting the nearby sites.
Beautiful grounds to explore, comfy beds, large family room, great breakfast. Hands down the best stay we've had in Costa Rica! We were even greeted by a personalized message inside the room! It is obvious that this hotel goes the extra mile for its guests; we liked it more than our 4-star resorts in Manuel Antonio and Puntarenas. We will definitely be back, and we hope to catch the restaurant open (we stayed during a CR holiday). Very close to La Paz Waterfall Gardens and Poás Volcano.
We loved the location in the mountains with a great view and away from the humidity and bugs. It felt like an authentic Costa Rican experience as the house was until recently used as a local family home, so it wasn’t built just for tourists. The kitchen was equipped with everything needed to cook meals. The owner Tomas was very helpful and interesting to hear him talk about giving back to the community and trying to live more simple and preserve the environment.
Probably top 5 hotels in my personal list. Excellent indoor and balcony jacuzzi, properly heated pool, very private territory and special wooden bracelets and the guest name by the door to emphasise the level👌.
The reception guys we very helpful and helped us to purchase Poas Volcano tickets as well as getting some cash. They even got a cake with the candles for the birthday.
The waterfalls garden is just no words. Fantastic trail with a shuttle back.
Loved the views, as it describes, it truly is panoramic! Very spectacular views all around the property. The host, Tomas was exceptional in all aspects; with such warmth, we truly felt at home. He went above and beyond in ensuring our stay was comfortable and even ensured our onwards journey is taken care of, in terms of providing key insights and tips of where to eat, etc for the best experience for our very first Costa Rica trip.
This place is 5 star hidden gem. The location is perfect 45 min /20 miles from airport. High in mountains right near many parks. So peaceful and the scenery breathtaking. These cabins are so unique and comfortable. The food was so unbelievable the best we had all week in costa rica. The service impeccable
You have to do the trails it's 5km and omg
This hotel is a heaven on earth. I would definitely recommend it if you are in the area. The rooms are spacious and quite. Breakfast was great but you should also try their dinner menu - everything we tried was delicious. There are many areas in the property where you can enjoy the views and nature. Try their own walking trails on the property!
This property is absolutely beautiful. From the moment we walked in, they took such great care of us. Being able to access the animal sanctuary and trails before they were open to the public was so special. Dinner at the onsite restaurant was delicious and the after hours animal feeding was the highlight of our trip to Costa Rica.
Lovely location, with trails around the property. Independent family run hotel. For warmer days there were outdoor facilities (BBQ grill, swimming pool, games). Onsite restaurant was open for dinner and again for breakfast. There was also a fridge in reception with water/soft drinks/milk/snacks for purchase.
Food in the lovely restaurant was really amazing and excellent value. The grounds were beautiful. Unfortunately the weather didn't co operate for us to do much hiking along the available trails but that's no reflection on the hotel itself. Breakfast was delicious
Great stop off location with beautiful scenery. Room was fantastic with good facilities and balcony to watch the sunset. Staff very friendly and good restaurant at the hotel to have evening meal and breakfast in the morning.
it is so beautiful. hummingbirds everywhere, a trail with waterfalls on the property, mini golf (a tough course, too!) and a romantic cabin with no internet access. very close to La Paz waterfall gardens.
Located with a lovely view of Poas Volcano, the room in the main lodge was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The restaurant staff served the best food of our three week stay in Costa Rica.
Very nice lodge and perfectly located if you want to explore the Poas region. Great breakfast, cute rooms with spectacular view and beautiful garden. Really enjoyed the hotel owned hiking path!
The hotel is lovely, the property is very nice and food was excellent. The staff if very attentive and welcoming
You can park the car next to the bungalow, which is totally equipped and cozy
The hotel was beautiful with gorgeous surroundings . 4 beautiful waterfalls , loads of long walks and stunning nature. I would have stayed much longer if i had time.
