We loved our stay at the hotel. The room was huge and very new. We had a nice view on the river and a big TV in our room. The breakfast was very good and the whole staff was friendly. We ate dinner at the restaurant and it was fantastic. Totally recommend this place!

First of all the concept in itself is great to put a cabin in the middle of the lake and watch the northern lights. The hosts are wonderful and their willingness to share their knowledge is great for the stay.

The accommodation is in an ideal location for viewing the Northern Lights – we saw them for three consecutive days! It's also close to the river, and the heating, fireplace, and sauna allowed us to experience the Arctic Circle lifestyle. Laundry facilities were convenient, and it should be equally enjoyable in the summer!

We arrived in the evening and immediately saw the Auroras above the lake. Pure magic. If you want to experience the serenity of the finnish wilderness, you will love every detail of this cabin. It was cosy, warm, beds were comfortable.

All four of us loved the cabin itself! Located at about a 15-min drive from Inari town, this cabin is perfect for anyone looking to get away from anything, in the summer or in the winter. We went there in December, and as you can see from some of the pictures, it's situated at the edge of the lake and has a wonderful view. It was comfortable enough for 4 people. The kitchen was stocked with all the pots and pans you would need along with some basic condiments. The attached sauna is a great additional feature to have. Because the cabin is so far away from everything else, you will be able to see the northern lights in the winter from the deck of the cabin itself, as we did, provided you are lucky enough.
This Finnish Lapland property offers traditional cabins and a waterfront sauna next to Lake Inari. Guests can enjoy free parking and a beautiful setting surrounded by nature.

You’re in the middle of nowhere surrounded by over 100 huskies. How amazing! The dogs are all so kind, you can pet them all. We had a bbq in the communal huts, where you can make your fire and hang out. Good breakfast. It was such a great experience!
Don’t expect luxury though. There is an eco toilet in the cabin, but no kitchen or shower. Washing is done in the sauna, if you need. We prepared our tea on the wood fire in the cabin.

We went on a snowmobiling trip and a dog sledding trip.
We went on a snowmobiling trip and a dog sledding trip. We liked both but really enjoyed the dog sledding more. The cabins on the lake at night, when the northern lights came out, were perfect. Yes it was cold but we could go in an out of the cabins and take pictures as the northern lights waxed and waned. Truly a fabulous adventure that cannot be replicated at a hotel.

Pretty little town, beautiful nature, very few people in the streets. Northern lights!!
Not many places to eat or to go out to, but it wasn't a problem for us. There's also a big museum and a cultural center there, hotels, a souvenir shop and supermarkets, and generally many things specially for the tourists. There is apparently no public bus going between Inari and the Ivalo airport (only Inari and the Ivalo town), but it's possible to book a shuttle bus.

the Wilderness hotel was fantastic. We love to hike and there are quite a few nice hikes in the area. The museum was very impressive and certainly worthwhile a visit.
The restaurant at the hotel was very good and we ate there every night of our stay. Highly recommended!

We stayed at Hotel Inari.
We stayed at Hotel Inari. View over huge lake from hotelroom and restaurant - and you can walk by foot or snowshoes or skis on the lake or ride snow mobile. Mini villlage, totally quiet, yet supermarket just across the road and tours in the area starting next door without any disturbance. Nice room, good breakfast though a bit crowded for Covid conditions at least at rush time (9 am) and probably winter holiday in Finland. Much much better to go to Inari than to Ivalo. Very friendly and helpful people, and many wonderful tours available.

Kind of remote town middle of nowhere, next to lake Inari.
Kind of remote town middle of nowhere, next to lake Inari. Not much to do if you'd like to downhill skiing or party but if one likes nature, calmness and clean, healthy atmosphere, then Inari is beautiful place. Especially during winter months. Dogsled rides, cross country skiing or such.

Beautiful location, next to the lake! We were supposed to be in a bungalow but ended up in an Aurora hut, it was awesome! New, beautifully decorated, with big windows through which we could watch northern lights...just perfect!
The staff is the best you could wish for! The reception was closed but we had contacts with them via messages and phone calls which was very convenient.
We had a wonderful time at Lake Inari. People are just of incredible kindness, and if you need any help they do not hesitate to give their hands. The experience of sleeping on the lake is totally undescribable!
I would strongly suggest to spend your time here and take part to Atte's running activities.
Thank you guys!

Nice cottage, very spacious next to the lake. lovely living room with a fully equiped kitchen and a fire place with enough wood and instructions in How to fire it up. The location is about 10 mins drive from Inari center. Also i have to say the staff was incredible kind helping us in Xmas day when We had troubles getting our car out of the snow.
Hotel Inari was fantastic! Stunning location, beautiful facilities! Lovely food, we had the half board option and had breakfast and a lovely 3 course evening meal each night. The excursions were also fantastic and the location is close to Inari where the Sami museum was very interesting, we walked into town which took about 40 minutes.
I loved my stay at Hotel Inari. The hotel is conveniently located in the centre of Inari opposite the supermarket and next door to the Safari tour office. The staff are friendly and really helpful and booked all of my tours for me which great. Beds are really comfortable and breakfast was fantastic. highly recommend
Convenient central location within walking distance of Lake Inari and the Siida museum. Short walk to pub for evening food. Off road parking for motorcycles. Contacted pleasant host to check in via what's app data
call (no international calling on UK mobile contract).
The house is perfect, comfortable and clean. The hosts left coffee and tea for use. The sauna is a plus after a day in deep cold. The nearby restaurant (wilderness hotel) is very good and the staff is very nice.
A fantastic stay!
This is really a brand new hotel with all facilities new. We only stayed one night and the breakfast was generous. It has good location. The hotel is right on the side of Inari Lake and there is also a unique sauna by the lake.
Experience of sleeping on the lake was amazing, but staff made this trip even more excellent. Everyone was so helpful, welcoming, and had fun stories or tips to tell. Would highly recommend staying here for a unique experience!
Excellent location overlooking Lake Inari! Was an excellent location to see the Aurora and the Aurora Cabin has unobstructed view of the lake and doesn’t look at other cabins. The cabin was nice and new.
The hotel location is great. It's right in the city center. Everything is within 10 mins walking distance. Staffs are friendly. The room is clean and has everything you need.
Very quite place at a lake. Calming atmosphere, idyllic for swimming, sitting outside at a fireplace in the evening and have self-made pancakes for a breakfast!
