Very stylish building, with beautiful decor. Lovely welcome on arrival. Very large room with a huge comfortable bed and a very nice en suite - I absolutely loved the spacious shower; probably the nicest shower I've ever been in. It was great to have bathrobes and slippers and all the other little touches. Will definitely stay again on our next trip to Béziers.

We were just passing by and were curious about the town as we had read some good reviews. The area around the cathedral is nice with lovely views of the surrounding countryside but a part from that there was nothing else that caught our attention. We were surprised by the presence of people just wandering around (drunk or else) and this is more noticeable in a small town like Beziers. Unfortunately it did not meet our expectations.

We enjoyed our one night stay in Beziers .
We enjoyed our one night stay in Beziers . It’s really lovely around the cathedral next to the hotel where we stayed with great views over the area and beyond . Eating out is a pleasure as there are many restaurants to choose from . If busy it’s best to book . We enjoyed walking around the town looking at the Trompe L’oiel on the walls . There is a trail to follow but we didn’t have time . We would have liked to have visited the canal locks nearby too . Unless there are events on , it’s not the most exciting town but we really enjoyed it and if visiting again would stay 3-6 nights using the town as a base to explore other areas /towns nearby .

The centre of town was just a few minutes walk away, through a noisy underpass. Beziers was charming, the people friendly and the food good. Railway and bus connections were easy. The central boulevard and Plateau des Poets ideal for a pleasant stroll. Canal du Midi a bonus!

Later in the evenings there were a lot of immigrants in the main square. We ate at one of the restaurants recommended by our host. We visited the 9 locks which was very interesting, with a restaurant on site.

Enjoyed visiting the Cathedral and the old town.
Enjoyed visiting the Cathedral and the old town. Also visited Les 9 Ecluses de Fonseranes and Tunnel du Malpas (Canal du Midi), and Oppidum d'Enserune (a 2,500 year old celtic settlement). Also drove to the nearby coastal towns but were disappointed that there was not more activity for the time of year (early/mid September).
If you are looking for modern type facilities of Marriott and the likes, this hotel is not for you. But if you are an open-minded traveller who appreciates the old charm and the atmosphere of the place, which fits perfectly the old town of Beziers, you would enjoy staying in this small hotel. It has a perfect location in the old part of the town near the beautiful Park of the Poets, it is clean, and the staff is fantastic, very friendly, efficient and knowledgeable.
This was perhaps the best hotel experience so far. This is a one-of-a-kind place. Regular assessment templates cannot embrace the magnificence of this adobe. Not only the whole idea of the enterprise, but it's the tiny detail, like ventilation in the windows or, say, not 'some' coffee beans in the machine at the breakfast, but tasty ones, with a noble flavor, that make one aware of how this whole thing was thoroughly thought through.
Very beautiful decorated place with southern France charm. A very lovely and big shared patio (just one neighbour) with private outdoor space. Location is just perfect and a visit to city center is possible via multiple roads on just 5 minutes. Also enough parking space in this part of the city (even on the same street). If you would prefer more safety the parking garage is just a fede minutes walk.
Everything about Villa Guy was a delight. The host made us exceptionally welcome introducing us to the history of the villa making our stay very special. The interior decoration is outstanding, combining the original decor with a contemporary vibe; this along with a great feel of luxury was a sound out feature for us. The garden is magnificent and the cocktails outstanding.
At once quirky and fantastic, chic and luxurious, the Villa Kumquats is all this and more. our room was large with a wonderful glassed terrace, the bathroom would shame a five star hotel. the breakfast, served outside in the garden was delightful, with the thoughtful inclusion of many local products. The location was 10 - 15 minutes walk from the centre of Beziers.
Couldn’t be in a better location with a stunning view of Beziers over the river. The hotel is so chic in design and is so unique with the cells etc. The pool was lovely to cool off in. We didn’t eat at the restaurant but did have drinks on the terrace which is really nice and affordable. Would deffo stay here again :)
A quirky, small hotel well designed and furnished with interesting and unusual art and objects. Very characterful.
Both members of staff we met were incredibly pleasant and helpful - they went way beyond the sort of functional attention you would normally get in a bigger hotel or one that is part of a chain.
This fabulous boutique hotel is located in on Jean Jaures square. The location is excellent. The rooms are spacious and newly decorated, Many restaurants on the square and only 8 minutes walk to the train station and 5 minutes walk to the old town. It was perfect.
Why stay in soulless chain hotel box when for a better price you can stay in this converted Nunnery with charm by the bucket! If those stairs could tell a tale? I will now be using this for my regular trips to Beziers.
Top, perfect to visit Beziers. Photos just seem less basic as it is. But down the road, it is immaculate, perfectly located, top of top. Thank you. I do suggest everyone to enjoy it there.
