The hotel is easily accessible by bike, being on one of the main cycle routes through Boulogne-sur-Mer. The staff were very helpful and let me store my bicycle in a secure room downstairs.
Also, the view from my room was lovely, especially when the sun was setting over the river.

We liked the old town but the rest of it was very down at heel and disappointing. It may be the that building work on the other side will improve the area but as we were staying in the middle of the works it was very unattractive

With only 24 hours, we only saw the old town, which is unspoilt (the most important feature for us of any destination). There were excellent traditional family run restaurants offering good traditional French food at reasonable prices. The ramparts offer a relaxing an interesting walk and the castle and cathedral a bit of culture.

Great place if you are interested in fishing, sea, seafood.
Great place if you are interested in fishing, sea, seafood. The historical city is worth a short visit. A lot of choice in restaurants and fish shops. Nice beach and waterfront sites. A part of the marina neigbourhoud is under reconstruction, the result will be very nice.

Boulogne-sur-Mer is a small but pleasant town to visit if you want to escape from the busy city life. We visited Nausicaa, the largest aquarium in Europe! It was worth the drive from Holland! That was the main reason for out trip.

We liked the fact that there were many towels available. The whole apartment is spacious. There is a terrace in the back (where the kitchen is located). There are shutters for making the room dark. The shower cabin inside the bathroom is big. The Wifi is excellent. The apartment has no living quarters on the other side of the street (there are university buidings). The old town centre is on walking distance. The owner was present when we arrived. The apartment is located on the paid parking/ free parking border.
This has simply been... amazing! The location couldn't be better: into the gorgeous historical heart of Boulogne-Sur-Mer.
The breakfast was splendid, just perfect - delicious hand-made marmalades, authentic and local French croissants, and so much more. The house oozes history, and the host is passionate about telling you more about its history. My historical heart rarely beat this fast before.
We will definitely be back!
The room was good value, took pets and was fairly close to the old town. We couldn't get a space in the car park but we got a space across the road and it was free parking. The bed was pretty comfortable and it wasn't too noisy although the hotel was quite full. The shower was big and good power and plenty of hot water. Although it was basic it was clean. It had a hairdryer which was useful.
Leah welcomed us to the hotel and was absolutely charming. She told us where we could park the car - a real bonus in a busy city. Our room was spacious and immaculately clean. Only slight downside was that they couldny=t let us have breakfast at 7 - we had to leave without breakfast as we had a ferry to catch.
Thank you we will stay next time we are in Boulogne!
Comfortable, very clean and nicely furnished and decorated apartment directly across from the old town. Very friendly and accommodating host, living in the same building. Easy walk to the historic center, bakeries and grocery store. Free parking nearby. Well sound-proofed with very quiet bedrooms facing the back. Great place to stay!
We were delighted to get a phone call on the morning of our stay inviting us to check in early, which meant we could relax and enjoy the hotel for the whole of our first day. The historical building is beautifully presented and the location in the old town is superb. Excellent breakfast each morning served by lovely, friendly staff.
Spacious 1860s mansion furnished with antiques and perfectly located next to the Old Town with its numerous restaurants, bars and cultural sites. (See the hotels website for recommendations. ) Very helpful hosts and an excellent breakfast including many homemade items.
very central location , ideal for the old town and visiting the historical attractions the area has to offer tourists , restaurant's are plentiful in the area and we particularly liked the cafe / boulangerie near the city walls offering good value snacks and pastries
Very well equipped, clean room with kitchenette. Communication was excellent and parking was available in the street and we paid (after 8.30am) using the parking app. Very close to walk to shops, restaurants and the old town. Highly recommended.
The accomodation is close to the touristic area of Boulogne-sur-Mer and Nausicaa. The apartment is very well equipped, with everything you could need. The cleanliness was impeccable and the communication very good.
Location to local bars and restaurants was fantastic.
Hotel was very clean and had a refurb since our last visit.
Only issue was water flooded under shower door. Nothing we could do. Made mat etc very wet.
plus point of down-town charm: very wonderfully and skill fully restored appartments in the old town.
It was an overnight stay, yet clearly you can stay longer in Boulogne, certainly in this location.
