The location is good but not in the city centre nor within walking distance - unless you are a hiker. The breakfast was very good: diverse choice of bread types, classic yoghurts, good range of cheeses, selection of cooked meats, breakfast teas and an automatic 24 hour coffee, hot water, etc dispenser. I think that there is a bar - not sure about evening meals - you will need to check. Polite and helpful reception staff.

The Sat nav details on booking.com are still incorrect. Another guest complained about this on booking com in Sept 2021and hotel said they would correct it. Still not done. Makes for a stressful beginning to an otherwise good value overnight stay.

Cahors is a lovely old town which was great for an overnight stop. However, don't go on a Sunday or Monday as most places are closed, especially in the old town which was the part we were mainly interested in. Had a fab meal in L'Auberge restaurant in the old part of the town. We had to google restaurants that were open Sunday evenings and this came up. It was really lovely.

A mixed bag of history as well as awful functional modern box architecture from the 1970s -1990s. The main part of the historical centre is treelined and pleasant to sit. Great if you are a red wine buff.

We appreciated the friendliness of everyone we met.
We appreciated the friendliness of everyone we met. We are good French speakers which helps, but nevertheless many locals spoke some English! ( This is not always the case in some regions!)
The tourist office was especially helpful and staff in restaurants, shops and the hotel were all very welcoming to visitors.
The « Petit Train » was fun ( book in advance at the ticket office just a short walk riverside from the Best Western hotel) and this trip saved weary legs on day two!
A gastronomic centre!! Apart from duck, foie gras, and truffles on offer - the wonderful creamy Rocamadour cheese must not be missed! Not to forget the Malbec wine!
For a special treat lunch the Tourist Office recommended La Truite Dorée at Vers - great choice.
In town the Bistrot at the covered market provided an excellent value delicious lunch ( eg a huge Croq Monsieur with minced duck!!! ) and for something more elaborate go to the nearby Au fil des Douceurs. 🤩 Just by this resto is a very good cave au vins showcasing many local wines … the helpful and knowledgeable guy in the shop delivered our purchases to the hotel!
Only one small moan - the lack of prominent hôtel street signs in the town to help lost visitors. Our Sat nav did not understand where to cross the railway line!
Charming welcome. A character building with excellent bedroom. Lively and tasteful interior design. Nice outlook to adjacent historical buildings. Situated at the top of Cahors and right in the hub of things (such as it is in this sleepy and lovely town.) Free public parking only metres away. Couldn't stay for breakfast.
If I'm ever in Cahors again I'll be making sure I stay here. Gorgeous hotel.
The roof terrace had the best view in Cahors and then with a drink from the bar, it was super!! It was of course all very basic but that is to be expected and the staff were very nice. Breakfast was good with the usual bread, cheese, yoghurt, fruit, tea and coffee. We were very pleased with the underground parking that was available for our car! The city center was just a 5 mins walk away.
The hotel has a lovely view over the river and the Pont Valentre and only 10 minutes walk to the old town. It is a modern hotel, nicely decorated with an indoor pool which was great to cool off on a hot day. Our room was very comfortable, clean with a nice view of the river. The staff at the front desk were all excellent and very helpful when one of our group needed some medical help.
All you would expect from a Campanile- we have stayed in them many many times over the years . This one in Cahors is very easy to find as you go past it on the way from the A20. lovely that dogs are always welcome . Not allowed in the restaurant ( although they were at the Campanile just outside Chartres) but in the summer they are allowed on the terrace . Very pleasant staff.
Cool little urban hotel with a bar/cafe/little restaurant. Very reasonably priced, especially given that it's located in the very centre of the Old city of Cahors, just across the street from the cathedral and the market. The staff was very friendly and hard working, even in this heatwave. Excellent breakfast.
Perfect location in the heart of Cahors.
Cute little townhouse nicely decorated. The beds were comfy. We visited in March and had to turn on the heat for a day. The heater worked really well and the house got to a nice temperature quite fast. There was a bottle of wine for us which was lovely.
Good location around 10mins leisurely walk to the old part of Cahors. Free safe parking across the road in a public car park.
Old building with no lift, as you would expect.
A little tired however Immaculately clean and good value for money.
Staff very good and lovely
Hotel Terminus is a superb traditional hotel in a beautiful belle epoque building and superb interior. Staff are friendly and very professional so all aspects of service were perfect. Breakfasts on the terrace were excellent as was the dinner in the inhouse Bistro 1911.
The food in the restaurant was delicious!! The room was comfortable and the garden suitable for our large dog who was warmly welcomed, with no fuss. We enjoyed the swimming pool. The hotel is convenient for walking into the centre.
This is a spacious and excellent property located centrally in Cahors. Less than a 10 minute walk in any direction to very fine restaurants. The proprietors could not have been nicer. The bed was particularly comfortable.
Super hotel in a great location with lovely views. Great parking, a very easy place to stay with the dog, and Julian on reception couldn't have been more welcoming. One of the nicest hotels we have stayed in in France.
Very comfortable and pleasant. Great location to see much of this area of France...not very touristy!
Nathalie and Pascal were very gracious and hospitable and quick to assist with a needed phone call in French
Hotel is clean, bed and pillows are comfortable. It's away from Cahor centre but short driving distance. There is McDonald's, boulongerie, supermarket nearby the hotel with walking distance.
Two receptionists, one evening and one morning. Both very cheery and helpful, everything very neat. The drinks machines were also very useful. Will stay again at a Brit Hotel!
Very nice staff, clean and comfortable, convenient location, This was our second stay here and will stay here again when we visit Cahors in the future.
