Everything about this hotel is quirky - its location on a quiet suburban street, the building (a little like a ship's interior) and the decor. It was comfortable with a decent shower. It is outside the city, but handy for the airport and ring road.

The rooms is small but clean and comfortable.
The breakfast area is not big, but the food was fresh and all the main breakfast you would expect were available.
Upon my arrival, the reception was closed, but there is a machine for self check-in. The machine was not working properly, and wouldn't take any payments (not just for me, but for another guest as well). I pressed the help button and someone was trying to help, and they called the manager who came to check us in, despite the fact that reception was closed. Everything was sorted in less that 15 minutes.

Rennes was beautiful the architecture rivals Paris! The restaurants serve beautiful tradional French cuisine. There are many stunning historic churches and a cathedral to walk around that will take your breath away. The shopping is excellent from small boutiques, vintage shops and designer stores to popular highstreet brands like zara and H&M. It's a university city that boasts a great cafe culture and nightlife. The Sunday farmers market is a must visit!

Only stayed 1 day - could perhaps have added a day. Rennes is very car un-friendly! Lots of cycle lanes, some quite narrow streets; lots of one-way streets that lead nowhere 9so you enter the one=way system and after a couple of minutes you end up back where you started - and there are no optional turns out of this system!
That said, once parked and on foot, very pleasant indeed.. We also had very nice weather - late-mid September.
Good restaurants - we ate at a creperie for lunch which was good and at an unpreposing restaurant for dinner which was very good,

The city had beautiful screet scape, shops and cafes and an amazing park all within walking distance. The local were friendly and prices generally in eating venues was reasonable. Rennes having a metro is an excellent asset allowing a lot of walking knowing you can double back by train if you plan your exploration direction to suit the metro stops. The staff at the metro station offered very helpful assistance without prompting helping to understand the ticketing system and ticket purchase process.
Room is spare but clean & comfortable; 1 task chair. Breakfast had good food & variety. Location across the street from le Gare. Convenience store next door. NO WI-FI! Staff speaks minimum English.
RENNES: worst tourist maps imaginable. Tourist bureau should be fired en masse!! AND THERE ARE NO TAXIs IN RENNES!!!! Saw dozens of tourists at every intersection staring alternately at “maps” and street signs, trying to navigate on foot. Arrived back at hotel exhausted and footsore. We won’t go back to Rennes- EVER!!!!
The hotel was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. It was right in the center of the old town, very quiet. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby and a 25 mins walk to the train station.
Marion was very friendly, and couldn't have done more to make our visit perfect. There was a secure place to store bikes, free car parking and she catered for a gluten-free breakfast by making a special cake. She provided a booklet including a map and places to visit.
Communication and information was also outstanding
The location is fantastic, right in the city center of Rennes allowing you to start exploring right in front of the door. Around the hotel there are also plenty of great restaurants, bars and coffee places. The apartement is quite large, very modern, clean and well equiped. It offered everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, the blinds blocked out the light and it was very quiet for such a central location. We would definitely stay here again.
Friendly receptionist. Room is spacious and clean. Everything is basic - you have to bring your own toiletries, towels and hair dryer. Location is ok. 30 mins walk or 10 mins bus or metro from Rennes station. Easy access to old town. Breakfast is basic but I brought my own so not a big deal. The price is unbeatable. Maybe a bit hot in summer as there’s no air conditioner.
We stayed at the Hotel Atlantic for one night after a trip through Normandy and Brittany and wanted a reasonably priced hotel a short walk from the train station. It was a very good find, and is also a quick walk to the metro station to easily access all the main sights of Rennes.
I have been to many hotels in France and Europe: this one is exceptional. All staff members were incredibly friendly and helpful. Such a warm and cosy atmosphere. A very unique place. Super quiet and yet in the centre of the town. Best hotel I have visited in the past years.
I have stayed in this hotel for a number of years due the great location and value for money. Breakfast is also good value for money. Secure parking available (extra cost) which is great when parking around Rennes can be a nightmare
Narrow entrance in an old house reconverted in small apartments, it's over a cozy and great value restaurant, we didn't have noise at night.
The little balcony over the roofs of Rennes and a superb shower made the difference
Excellent Location in historic part of Rennes. Public parking was near-by (we arrived by car). It was a small studio apartment but much better than a small hotel room. It had a minimal kitchen (which we did not use).
Safe enclave right next to the weekly market, restaurants, beautiful buildings. A café in the courtyard and a restaurant on the upper level. The hotel seem to appeal to hipsters on up to seniors.
Pleasent check in and adequate room. Nice shower. Good tasty breakfast. Close to Gare Train Station and a 15 minute walk to the Old Town. Handy locstion for the return of hire cars.
Clean and comfortable rooms, nice atmosphere, great location especially if you are driving around France, free parking and nice breakfast. Metro station to city centre 10 min walk.
The rooms were clean and comfortable, the location is perfect: right in the center of rennes 1 minute away from the train station. The staff was really welcoming and nice.
The location is good, very close to Rennes Train Station. Room was nice and clean. Staff were very friendly. The hotel had very strict procedure on Covid 😀.
The Union of rooms 201 and 202.for the 4 of us built my best hotel experience ever with my two little ones..it's hard to express how simply good it was.
