Breakfast was good with plenty to choose from, the hotel staff were friendly as always and the room was good with great view. There is a nice snug bar where the staff are always chatty and the owners are always around for a chat

Gorgeous beaches loved that you could walk along the cliffs safely and easily for a 1.5 mile walk each direction right from town. Town looks a bit in disrepair at times. Our accommodation was great with wonderful service including the restaurant below it. Parking was easy.

The beach is gorgeous, as are the cliff walks and views.
The beach is gorgeous, as are the cliff walks and views. Restaurants were fine.
Unfortunately we couldn't find any postcards, couldn't rent any bicycles (nearest bike hire was miles away), and the 'tourist office ' was not only shut down but in a very sad state of disrepair.
Also, no one seemed to know where Charlotte Bronte honeymooned!! We found it easily though (there's a plaque).

Stayed at sycamore Lodge after completing the Hell of the West Triathlon.Staff at Sycamore Lodge (Tom and staff ) couldn’t be more hospitable and helpful. Was treated to a lovely selection of treats and a coffee on arrival. They even have taught of transport and received a lift into Kilkee and a lift home in the evening. The bedroom was so comfortable. This accommodation is of hotel quality and a lovely cooked breakfast along with buffet home made breads and pastries went down a treat..Had a lovely stay ..Will be back again.
The place was nice and clean, there's a view on the beach. Close walk to the cliffs (about 1km?)and there's also pamphlets for you to check out with nearby food places and things to do. We were out of season so cruises were not available (best to book after March to go on cruises if that's what you want to do) but we've enjoyed the stay nevertheless. Place is pet friendly and quiet, my rabbit absolutely adored it and had happy zoomies and binkies. Very good contact with host, absolutely lovely person.
I liked the location , I liked the size of the property . The grounds the property is on . Its a nice quiet area away from the town and any noise from revellers . There are beautiful walks close by . A decent view from the property .
Great parking facilities . The town center is within walking distance . There is plenty of open space for kids , the tennis and basketball courts and playground are a great facility .
Our stay was wonderful! The owners were very nice and the room was perfect-bed comfortable and bathroom was updated. Breakfast was very good-the porridge was so tasty. Easy to access right off the main road and plenty of parking. We would definitely recommend to anyone who is planning a stay in Kilkee!!! Thank you for sharing your home with us.
Location was perfect, 2 minutes to beach and great location to tour west Clare, Loop head, Doonbeg, Kilrush and more.
Property was very spacious, very comfortable furnishings and cooking facilities were excellent. Cleanliness was excellent and management were very helpful with any requests.
Lovely clean B&B in the heart of Kilkee town. Newly refurbished and very clean room with bathroom and shower with good water pressure. Nice and quiet, we slept very well. We did a lovely walk from the B&B to the cliffs, everything is easily accessible by foot.
Had a lovely comfortable stay for 1 night. The breakfast was excellent - eggs & bacon, fresh fruit, fresh scone & muffin with jam, juice, tea. Valeria is a wonderful host, I would highly recommend the Blue Tit Lodge. Great location just outside Kilkee Town.
Superb B&B - 2nd time to stay here - Beautiful location with stunning views. A wee bit of a distance from Kilkee itself but as we had a car, it didn't bother us. Great facilities and fabulous breakfast. Teresa's a great hostess. We'll definitely return.
Amazing facility, accommodation and host location is amazing. This place is a little diamond whether to escape from the hectic life, family trip or work accommodation would highly recommend this place and will be back
The atmosphere and the location easy access to the town centre beautiful views lovely people and lovely beach plenty of shops and restaurants nearby needs a bit more for teenagers
