A modern hotel in the city of Stoke-on-Trent, centrally located within the Midlands and close to Alton Towers, with excellent motorway, road links and rail links to the Northwest..
In a peaceful, rural location, this country house was originally built in 1845. Today, the house has been converted into a luxurious privately owned hotel with many beautiful original features.

I am a vegetarian and the breakfast was lovely. The evening meal was also very good but I dont always enjoy vegan food so the starter of beetroot terrine was not to my taste.

Great place to lay your head for a stop over, very well run, staff great. Pub downstairs was great, locals very friendly and welcoming.
Would stay again for sure.
Perfect for families, friends, business and couples.
Perfect for families, friends, business and couples. So much to do around the area. Local tescos, aldi, halfords, b&m, mc Donald's, Gregg's, and other big named shops. Also there is a retail mall about 10 min drive away. Beautiful area with gorgeous trees and scenery. Local to alton towers and a mile down the road is monkey forest, the uks only place where you can walk amongst 140 monkeys. A must visit!

We went to Alton Towers which was great but extremely expensive and very crowded so only managed 3 rides, due to the queing times.
Didn't really see much more of Stoke apart from our hotel, which was very nice.

As previously stated - there was nothing positive in the slightest. However, on reading some other reviews (wish I’d read them before booking) it was reassuring to see similar comments and photographs. As for those people giving it 9/10 and 10/10 reviews are either from the hotel, or being paid to write a totally dishonest review. The place is desperate…and no matter how you try to dress it up - it is not fit for purpose and should be removed from booking.com

My husband chose the holiday.
My husband chose the holiday. I booked the hotel and its location as I was born in Stoke on Trent. It was near to Wedgwood World and other attraction we wanted to visit. The area has changed vastly since I lived there and we relied on a Satnav to get around by car. We stayed for 4 nights. On the last day we visited Trentham gardens shopping centre which was well worth the visit. However, we spent more time there and didn't get to see the gardens which were done by Capability Brown. The swimming pool we used to visit when I was a child was long gone and I would have been interested to visit the gardens. We would stay in this hotel again due to its convenient location.. Stoke on Trent is the 'Potteries'. It's industrial era cam to a close in the 20th century with its coal mines closes, pottery firms moved out and the Shelton steel works closed down. I haven't lived there for over 50 years and it was good to come back to see the town is still thriving. I did not visit the Stadium or Regent Theatre. I did visit Moorcroft and Middleton potteries. We would have visited Gladstone pottery but it was closed.
New, bright and clean hotel, near Hanley town centre, and just moments away from the new Spitfire gallery at the 'Potteries Art Gallery and Museum'. The Emma Bridgewater factory is within walking distance for those interested in touring a local pottery factory. The interior design of the hotel has lots of references to local history e.g. interesting ceramics in reception and pictures in the room reflecting local history. And the 'Six' restaurant is a reference to the 'six towns' of Stoke-on-Trent. Nice touch.
The receptionist on Sunday was super friendly and made checking in a doddle. Lovely clean room with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was also spotless. A nice selection of food for the evening meal on Sunday night too. The property had warned of late music until midnight ahead of my arrival but either than got cancelled or they were miles away = I heard nothing..! As a cat-dad, meeting "Bella" the hotel cat at check-in was a highlight for me too.
This place is tucked away in a housing estate which seemed odd at first but its location is right next to the cricket club and the room look out onto the pitch which is fabulous. The hotel rooms were very clean and nicely decorated and the staff made sure our family we were in adjacent rooms. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were very friendly. It was a great location for our activities in Stoke like Waterworld and Bowling etc. We had a great stay!
This is now my third visit in recent months and as ever everything was really very good. The beds are exceptionally comfy, the rooms are quiet and lean - and for us the included breakfast is really very very good, Staff are all professional and genuinely pleasant and helpful. I certainly leave with the feeling that they like working there... I will of course be using this hotel for future family visits to Stoke.
Lovely building in good location directly across from train station and close to university. Staff were friendly and room was fine - spacious and clean. Bathroom had seen better days and the shower was like something in an elderly aunt’s house but it worked fine! A hotel that is a little threadbare but that’s reflected very much in the price.
Breakfast was excellent although no dishes or spoons were put out for the cereals and we had to ask...minor issue.well positioned for going to different potteries and museums which was good.
Good value for money although next time I would go direct to the hotel to see if we could get it cheaper.
Cosy, comfortable apartment with everything we needed for a short stay. Very powerful shower and good WiFi. Short walk from Stoke Station and close to shops for Stoke specialities London Road Oatcakes and Wright's pies. Sandra (manager) was very helpful and self-check in was straightforward.
The hotel was everything me an my daughter needed for a few days at alton towers. Was an amazing stay and a perfect location with an aldi, petrol station an McDonald's all a stone throw away. I would definitely stay there again an recommend to others also.
Location was very central and opposite the beautiful Victorian train station, which the hotel style mirrors. Double room was HUGE as was en-suite, although dated. Breakfast was good and varied. Friendly staff and excellent value for money
Location is good, close to bars and restaurants. Luxurious room with comfy beds. Normally I stay in more simple places, but because it was a good offer booked this hotel. Enjoyable!
I didn't have a breakfast .I was told that they did 'nt do them at the hotel. I also didn't get the use of any wi- fi ; I was told that you had to request it at the reception !
Location: just at the end of the center of the city, 2 minutes to the station, working distance to Stoke and the shopping center Hanley ( 45 and 60 min ) but bus 15 and 25 min.
The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable. It is located near city center so you can walk to anything you need including the bus station.
