The Radiant City
Honoured by Al-Masjid Al-Nabawi, one of the holiest mosques in Islam, Medina is the 2nd most important Islamic pilgrimage site after Mecca. Surrounded by hills that have seen hundreds of people seek refuge in its oasis, this city has developed a range of modern facilities to host the pilgrims from all over the world.
Formerly named Yathrib, the city is also known as Madīnat an-Nabiy or ‘Prophet’s City’, and it’s also known as Al-Madīnat(u) 'l-Munawwarah or ‘Radiant City’. The Prophet Muhammad came to the city in the 7th century, seeking refuge from his opponents. According to Muslim theology, the last chapters of the Quran were revealed to him here.
The site where the Prophet lived is now occupied by the Al-Masjid Al-Nabawi or ‘Prophet’s Mosque’. Although the mosque has changed and expanded over the years, the green dome is part of the original sanctuary.
Places like the Masjid Quba mosque, the Masjid Al-Qiblatain mosque and the Al-Baqi Cemetery also represent important holy sites in Medina.

Al Madinah is a significant religious destination for Muslims, boasting numerous religious sites such as mosques and historical landmarks. However, navigating the city can be challenging due to ongoing infrastructure work, particularly when attempting to reach places like the Masjid by car. Many religious areas suffer from inadequate parking or are completely closed off.

Every Muslim should visit Madinatul Munawwarah and visit Masjid Nabawi (SAWS). Now you can visit Riyadhul Jannah once in a year. Also visit other historical places like Masjid Quba (first mosque built), Masjid Qiblatain and so on.MMW - 10Scored 10

When your heart is deeply connected to a city like Madina, everything around becomes truly amazing. Our souls and hearts remain captivated by the beauty of Madina. The nearby food options around Masjid Nabwi may be average, but taking a stroll to explore different cuisines and savor authentic flavors is truly worth it. It's important to note that driving in Madina has become a bit challenging due to ongoing maintenance work. Unfortunately, Google Maps may not always provide accurate information about the blockages and detours. Nevertheless, the enchantment of Madina continues to captivate us, making every moment spent there truly special.MohdSaudi Arabia

But to the old railwats station defunitely it's easy to walk. There are plenty of local restaurants around and a supermarket run by a friendly Indian gentleman literally in the back. The bedoroom was super comfortable, very clean, well equipped and quiet. Beds were comfortable and I slept very well here. I booked for one night but decided to stay two more to rest from my trip around Saudi Arabia. Loved my stay.

This is an excellent location as it is away from the market area which is a growth distraction for the discerning visitor. We arrived early and we booked a twin room however no twin room was available so they gave us a quadruple room instead for early check-in. Will definitely recommend as great value for money
