This is a holy place. Too hot in summer.
This is a holy place. Too hot in summer. Looks like this is safe City but also to be vigilant as lot of people visiting heere.
Prices are not fixed and needs to be knowledgeable about the cost, otherwise you may end up paying more. Lot of food choices here. Most of travelers are pilgrims to visit Macca. It is better to understand Arabic, because sometimes, it is hard for people here to understand English. However, they can find the translator, if required. Most of the time people respect others as this is holy place and people avoid to have arguments. Highly recommend to visit.

Whenever I have time off, visiting Mecca is always at the top of my list! It's a place that draws you in, and every time you leave, you feel like you haven't had enough and want to return for more. Besides performing Umrah and prayers, it has a unique appeal to the heart and soul. Of course, it is the House of Allah!

I liked the trip.
I liked the trip. Hotel location is prime location and there service is very good.( Swissôtel Makkah)
The only thing I can’t find kids entertainment or even near by Haram ( walking distance).
The people selling in the street making more crowd while going to Haram or others asking for taxi ride.
The virtual museum is good attraction. Especially for kids.
Shopping is overpriced.

Would like to come back again but the haram sharif was very confusing about which gate to use to go in and every day there was a change - as usual the security employees were very rude and discourteous specially to women
Arrived at least 6 hours before check in time but they checked us in straight away. Room decent, WiFi in room excellent, shower and everything working perfectly. Small convenience store inside entrance very reasonable priced compared to near Haram prices.
There are regular bus services directly outside the hotel to the Haram and back (can get rowdy coming back after Isha).
Overall very pleased, honestly didn't expect much for the price we paid as just wanted something cheap and cheerful for Umrah but it surpassed expectations
Nice and fresh, there were regular buses to and from Makkah. Read on reviews buses were issues, I think they listened and there were always 4 to 6 buses outside hotel and from Makkah. Due to Road works it took about 10 to 12 minutes. We also tried walking from Hotel to clock tower took us 20 minutes. Still work going on.
Best location ,located near Haram. 5 min walk to Haram. But if it would have been better if there was a shuttle system while returning back to hotel due to hotel located up hill. Especially when after doing tawaf it would be little tired of walking .
Other than that everything is good.
The staff very friendly and well dressed and helpful , specially the man his name abdelmajed , he providing welcome coffee and hot juice, the hotel provid late checkout if the guests need it , the location near haram , the breakfast open Buffay and delicious and fresh .
Price is pocket friendly comparing to other neighborhood hotels near Haram. Neat and clean hotel. There was power failure in room frequently. They gave me next door room but we didn’t change room as the technician rectified within some time.
Great affordable budget hotel near Haram. Free shuttle bus available, although it leaves at quite random times. Generally tidy and clean apart from some coffee stains in the carpet. Hallways smell good and staff is very polite.
The location of the hotel is on a sloop, but golf carts are available 24/7 so no issue. It is near Haram - 5 min walk after the golf ride.
The staff is good and the rooms are clean.
Washroom has water heating facility as well.
I had an exceptional stay at this brand new hotel! Very clean, super helpful staff, great location near Haram, and the view from the 36th-floor Prayer room was the best (picture below). I highly recommend the hotel.
It's a clean hotel, near Haram on the way, but in returning back a bit far however there is a bus available 24 hours. Most of the staff was helpfull. Mr. Ali, Mr. Ziad and Mr. Abdulla were very cooperative.
Very Good experience. Very good staff. Good location. Near Haram. Room was clean. Reception staff speak english. They do let me printout my PCR test Certificates as well. overall a very good hotel.
Everything was great..room was comfortable and clean.A lots of shops nearby but very less restaurant...So if you want to buy food should buy near Haram then only get back to hotel.
The best location near Haram, didn't have to go anywhere else to find things, a few steps to Haram, shopping within the clock tower, and all kinds of food options in the building.
