Mahon is an easy going city. It is small and not too noisy.
Mahon is an easy going city. It is small and not too noisy. There is plenty to do and see. You can cover most areas on foot and there is a good bus service to other parts of Menorca. The harbour area is attractive with boat trips which are a great way to see the city and get an idea of its' history. It is also a very pleasant area to walk and there are plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars both in the harbour area and in the centre of town. Menorca has lovely beaches and because it is a relatively small island it is easy enough to reach anywhere from Mahon

Mahon is an interesting town with a large harbour and many individual shops. There is a wide range of cafes and restaurants. The streets are clean and the main town centre is pedestrianised so is very easy to get around.

A good base to discover the rest of the island, I think that buses can get you to a fare number of places but as frequent visitors we invariably have a car waiting at the airport. Mahon is full of character, steeped in history. Boat trips available round the huge harbour.

Mahon port is a must, lovely to walk around and there are 2 lifts to take you from the port to the old town.
We love art galleries and museums and met some wonderful people.
Not a place for children really, Better for children on the west side of the Island.
Some really good restaurants Tap Can, La Opera and especially Perla!
The hotel was absolutely incredible - Pepe and Penelope were incredible hosts and helped organise everything for our trip. The breakfast and paella dinner were incredible, and the service and response time to our (many) requests was exceptional. I would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Menorca - it's in a great location (only 10 min from airport and 20min into Mahon) and the hotel itself is so beautiful, you can spend the whole day there. Thank you Pepe and Penelope for everything!!!
The concept to reduce carbon footprint. The grab and go along with complimentary selection of drinks is a great idea and made the hotel buzz in the afternoon. I had an excellent massage from Anabel and didn't need to book in advance, popped in on the off chance. Breakfast options are also excellent 👌. We had an issue with the TV which was dealt with very quickly. If this a representation of the Artium group we would certainly look for them again in other locations.
Good location for centre of Mahon. We loved the Fish Market with fun atmosphere and lovely drinks + tapas. Hotel was very pleasant and environmentally conscious - courtesy bar and snacks were very welcome. Rooftop pool/spa was small and delightful. We had used a hire car for touring the island but returned it as we didn't need a car to explore Mahon - good decision - and very easy to catch a bus to airport.
Helpful and cheerful staff-each and every one of my 7 days there. Extremely comfortable bed and pillows.Property appears brand new. It's not luxury-but like a very good IBIS Hotel .Everything works well and staff is well trained. Breakfast was good .Fresh bread available.Alternatives to cow milk available too. Strong air con and wifi signal.
Had a great time here, all the staff very nice and friendly, providing some amazing recommendations for restaurants, beaches etc. Maó is a very easy 20 minute walk from the hotel, or a 5 minute taxi ride. Both dinner and breakfast was amazing with fresh local produce. I’ll definitely be back, and stay for longer next time.
The hotel is in a fantastic old building which retains much of its old charm. Our room was large and had its own little terrace. Staff went out of their way to welcome us and to provide whatever we wanted. The breakfasts were really excellent (if very generous!) and made great use of delicious Menorcan products.
Beautiful hotel, located in the centre of Mahon. The hotel has so much character, it has been beautifully designed and styled with lots of original features. It was all very clean and Ignasi could not have been more helpful in making our stay comfortable and providing omis with lots of local information,
The hotel was perfectly located in the centre of town. An ideal bolt hole if you are planning to explore Menorca and need somewhere comfortable and clean to come home to every evening. Didier was most helpful and welcoming. The beds were comfortable and linen/products all of top quality.
The hotel is a little boutique hotel in the center of Mahón, super good luck just close to the port. The staff was impeccable , so helpful with everything you need. Rarely to find. The room was super clean and a nice breakfast.
I loved the place. Definitely to come back
The hotel is conveniently located from the airport. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, and Jessie, the hostess, extremely helpful and friendly. We had a great time!
Loved the location of the hostel in Mahon, super close to restaurants and exploring the city. They even cleaned our room daily which was a lovely surprise especially during Covid. Highly recommend.
Literally everything was superb: the beautiful hotel itself, the location near the best part of Mahon, and the attention we got from Jordi and the rest of the staff. Wonderful!
very charming hotel with lots of art in every room and in the community spaces. the breakfast is outstanding and is being prepared very individually. ignasi is a wonderful host!
Beautiful hotel in a stunning location overlooking the Port of Mahon. Our bedroom was very comfortable with lovely en-suite. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful.
