Great places to visit - hike to Hollywood sign, helicopter ride over the city, Laguna Beach, Venice beach, Santa Monica Pier. Not so great - expensive! Busy during rush hours, big city to get around so need a car. Difficult to find healthy food options as few and far between. Prepare to queue!

Went there is visit family and watch Dodgers games. They were very accommodating as they won every game we saw (who could ask for anything more). We also went to several comedy clubs. What a great deal that is. . no fee just a request order two things (drink or food). Check out Flappers in Burbank. Note: they will charge for famous people like Jay Leno.

It was dirty, crowded, the people were rude, and sadly the city needs to do more to address its homelessness crisis. But I saved some cash and used the washing machines at the hotel. Very convenient. And of course the manager arranged for me to stay in my favorite room. The amazing 1st street vibe coming through my window always puts me in great mood. Many thanks to the hotel and staff for another great stay in the best area downtown.

The staff helped me a lot with my luggage at the end of my stay as well. There was always water available for everyone. Everything was clean. I couldn't use the pool and wasn't able to get some drinks at the restaurant but it looked very fancy. There's always free shuttles to the Airport. The hotel is near everything. What's not to love? I totally recommend it and will always be my first option when staying in Los Angeles
