I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The breakfast was fantastic, and my room was a charming little cabin with a picturesque view. I particularly enjoyed the complimentary sauna, and my room had all the amenities I needed. The staff were exceptionally sweet, nice, and friendly, providing all the information we required. The check-in desk, located in a charming bar that even offers karaoke options, providing a fun tone right from the start.Plus, the proximity of restaurants to the cabin made dining out incredibly convenient. I highly recommend staying here for the great atmosphere, convenient location, and excellent service!

the indoor pool and the sauna are amazing, especially after a long ski day. Also, the common living room area is a cozy place to read a book or play board games.
We had a little issue in our room, and the staff came within 15 minutes and solved the problem, even bringing chocolate for the inconvenience.

If you're going skiing, Saariselkä is a good option and you can stay there for a week, for example.
If you are looking for the Northern Lights, maybe 3 nights would be ok, but you you should pray for good weather, with clear skies, and , of course, for the aurora to appear.

Saariselka has everything you need for a winter lapland trip...
Saariselka has everything you need for a winter lapland trip! The ski resort is at walking distance, there are more than three DMC's to chose from when booking trips, there are plenty of restaurants and pubs. THe supermarket is big for a small town and offers all you need. Note that you can't buy wine in the supermarket but there's a small store next to it called Alko where you can pick up a bottle of wine.

It is a very beautiful place, but it is expensive. I just stayed for one night in a beautiful cabin. I think that the food is ok and also there could be some more interesting things to in the Hotel do when it gets dark.

You can do many activities - skiing, biking, hiking, relaxing, observing, and enjoying Lapland nature. You have a big chance to see the Aurora Borealis. There is a very comfortable and understandable system of day huts and wilderness huts with essential equipment in and out of the national park — an excellent place for people who love nature.
This is a beautiful property, just outside the centre of Saariselka. Upon arrival we found it had everything we could possibly need and more! It was warm, cosy, clean and absolutely perfect for our stay. The sauna was amazing to relax in after being out in the snow all day and the addition of a Christmas tree was a much welcomed bonus! Surrounded by stunning scenery and just a 10 minute walk into town and to the shops etc. We loved everything about it and would 100% stay again!
The room, the view and the Jacuzzi were even better than advertised, but the thing that stood out was how incredibly helpful the staff was. Juuso helped us with everything we could've needed and more: setting up the room in a particular way, driving us to places, even showing us around Saariselka. Maybe I'm biased because I proposed on this trip, but this was the best hotel I've ever stayed at. Get the Jacuzzi place! Absolutely worth every penny.
The apartment is exactly as advertised and more!
Great location, convenient and well equipped! Easy car park, shops, restaurants within walking distance, yet quiet and in the middle of Lappish nature.
Clearly, the hosts are passionate about Lapland and want to share this with their visitors. It made us feel very welcome and as if we were home, away from home.
Amazing location, and the view suite with sauna is amazing value when compared to the igloo style cabins. Has even a small induction stove top and pans you can cook with if needed. Heated tiles feel great after a long day in the cold. Pillows and bed are comfy. Couch is nice to lounge on and watch TV. Lots of space.
Good location, just outside Saariselkä.
Host was super helpful, and fast to communicate with us.
Very comfortable (awesome beds), very well equipped, and excellent sauna.
Low light pollution and clear surroundings. We managed to see some auroras from the front porch!
I loved everything about this trip. Your staff was wonderful and the front desk ladies were more than helpful! Breakfast was wonderful, as well as getting on the bus daily was so easy. I would suggest this hotel to anyone.
Extremely helpful and polite staff
Wonderful and unique location good to spot northern lights
Really nice and cozy common spaces to relax
The hotel organizes lots of activities to fully enjoy the lapland experience.
The hotel is at a good location and it is easy to find. The rooms are comfy and excellent beds, clean bathroom - also bathrobes available. Stable wifi. Friendly staff at the reception. No extra fee for parking.
Nice warm house very close to cross country ski trails and about 3 km far from Saariselka. It's very we'll furnished and have a nice sauna inside. A charming and peaceful place, perfect to visit Lapland.
Like a picture postcard. I wanted somewhere that felt Christmassy and this place way exceeded our expectations.
We want to come back to Saariselka one day and will definitely consider coming back here.
Everything: the staff and owners make the stay so enjoyable.
