Beautiful city with fairy tale views, nice walks (lovely along the river, through Parcs de la Petrusse) interesting history, and friendly people. Free public transport and/or very walkable, so very easy to get round this compact and pretty little city. Would thoroughly recommend. About 3 days was perfect, and I didn't feel like I'd missed anything, but if I'd have had longer, I would have gone further afield. Pretty kid friendly too from what I saw (although I didn't have kids). Struggled to find Luxembourgish food though.

Luxembourg is well worth visiting! Take a walking tour! Eat and drink at the many bars and restaurants. Incl. lots of local food, beer, and wine. Reserve enough days for exploring the town on foot and by free public transport.

Luxembourg is a pretty and romantic city with everything within easy walking distance. Plenty for people who love history, walking, cafes, bars or shopping. We loved or 3 day stay, it is peaceful and easy going. It is more expensive than other European cities but not wildly so ! There is plenty of greenery around too with pretty gardens and a big park.

Lovely little country.
Lovely little country. They are proudly multilingual, with 3 official languages of their own, and are supportive of others. (I don't think I've ever seen/heard so much of the Irish language outside of Ireland). Public transport is amazing - very modern, properly integrated between different modes and free to use throughout the country.

He gave us a good explanation about Luxembourg city and gave us a map of the city. The hotel room was very clean, large and modern, which included all the facilities we needed during the stay. The hotel is very centrally located and close to a park, only a few minutes away from the city centre, old town and surrounded by very good restaurants. There is a very nice restaurant at the hotel as well.

A short walk across the Bridge to the City Centre, a 5 minute walk to the Train Station and down the road, and you are in Grund. There is a lovely, newly opened tea shop across the road for great breakfasts. The TV was great, we watched Netflix and the wifi was very good. It was easy to find the keys on arrival, the instructions were clear.

The hotel is literally across the street from the airport and, if you want to go downtown/historic city center/city under the city, the busses in Luxembourg are all free and it only takes about 15-20 minutes from the hotel. The room was clean but showed wear and tear of many previous stays. The free parking was really nice!
