This excellent penzion has everything you need for a short or long stay. The owner Marketa takes good care of you and makes sure that you have everything you need. Fresh coffee and tea are available at no extra charge. Shared kitchen is well stocked with everything you could possibly need and a high chair for the wee ones. Washing machine, clothes rack, ironing board and a super iron. Very small quiet pretty village with a bus stop on the main road which runs a regular service daily to Touzim which has supermarkets Coop and Penny and many restaurants and coffee shops. 5-10 minutes bus ride. Bochov, in the other direction I think enables you to connect with another bus to Kalroy Vary. I extended my stay as it was just so relaxing and peaceful. If your reading this review just book it. you will not be disappointed. Thank you Marketa.

3 of us stayed 6 nights in the apartment. The beautiful spa centre of Karlovy Vary was within walking distance. We bought a 7-day local bus pass, which was very convenient for accessing town centre, supermarkets, train station. The bus stop is just a couple of minutes walk from the apartment. All equipment for cooking was available. Providing some cooking oil would be useful. Katrin was very warm and helpful, quick to respond to requests. Would definitely stay again if we visit Karlovy Vary.

From the moment we arrived, I was captivated by the beauty and tranquility of the natural surroundings. The room itself was a cozy haven, nestled amidst the lush greenery. It was spotless and clean, making it the perfect retreat after a day of exploring the forest. One of the highlights of this stay was the fresh air. I spent my mornings sipping coffee on the balcony, listening to the sounds of birdsong and the rustling of leaves. The forest, close to accommodation, itself was a treasure of adventure. We went on daily hikes in nearby, explored Castles and beautiful small villages nearby. It was only 5-7 minutes drive from astonishing Karlovy Vary, so it was very convenient to combine urban life with forest peace. There is also beautiful hike trail to Obora Svatý Linhart, Accommodation itself is located near the old porcelain factory Pirkenhammer from 1803. The host is truly exceptional. He proactively went above and beyond to accommodate all of our requests and provided great guidance of all the attractions in the area. And there is a quite a lot. We will definitely come back here, and I recommend this place to anyone seeking true vacation in quiet forest atmosphere and still very close to one of the most beautiful towns in Europe.

A good location for a relaxing holiday in Ostrov, Penzion U Lípy is a guest house surrounded by views of the quiet street.

Everything was fine here. Big, nice and clean room with very good bed, nice bathroom with a good shower, good breakfast! Also good food in the restaurant, friendly staff, free parking at the courtyard of the house and WiFi worked well. I would stay here again... :D - Děkuji pěkně!

This is a fully equipped flat, it was like being at home. Great communication with the host, we got every important information about the check-in, etc. The city centre of Karlovy Vary is only a few minutes on foot. Dog-friendly accomodation, you can even find bowls to your pet. Lot of foreign TV-channels (english, deutch, etc.)

The room was clean and tidy, same as living area with the kitchen. Big and comfy bed, and new bathroom. Kitchen was equipped with everything you need. Everything was great and special thanks to the hostess for the wonderful hospitality.
