Last minute booking when let down by another provider nearby. Check-in details were provided within minutes of booking and we were able to access the property with no issues... even at 9pm on a Friday evening.
Everything was clean and ready; house instructions left were clear; plenty of kitchen equipment and even tea, coffee etc available.

Lovely stand alone building as you come into Caldbeck with parking outside.
In a very quiet location overlooking a field of gorgeous cows.
Kitchen had everything we needed to cook for ourselves a couple of nights. Filter coffee and plunger were a lovely touch.
Bed and pillows were comfortable.
Host was very quick to respond to messages.

Location. Ideally placed for easy stroll into village centre with lovely pub and a few little shops and a couple of cafes where I spenta very relaxing day. Well placed on Cumbrian Way for hubby who was doing this long distance walk. Lovely to have our own sitting room and kitchen!

Kitchen was well equipped, had everything you needed! Bedroom was lovely and comfortable, i would definitely love to have done a longer stay
