We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming countryhouse. The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and full of thoughtful touches – a real blend of countryside charm and luxury. The spacious living room overlooked a peaceful garden and featured a cosy fireplace, large TV, and a fully equipped kitchen in the corner, perfect for a relaxing evening in. The bedroom was incredibly comfortable with a huge bed and luxury linen, and the ensuite bathroom was spotless and modern. Jennifer, our host, was fantastic – so welcoming and attentive, leaving us provisions for breakfast and ensuring we had everything we needed. We loved the private entrance, outdoor seating area, and the nice selection of books and games. The location is brilliant for exploring the area – close to the picturesque village of Cong, Ashford Castle, and the stunning landscapes of Mayo and Connemara. We only wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommended for both short and extended stays.

Beautifully appointed property that is immaculately clean, well equipped and very cosy. We loved it. The location was perfect for us as we were visiting the nearby village of Cong that is only a five minute drive away. Lots of great walks and interesting places to visit all very close by and this is ideal for touring round the beautiful lakes and countryside. Just perfect! Thank you Yvonne.

House was fantastic for a large family,,very clean and beds were very comfortable,location was safe and secure for children and hot tub was a great bonus.

Wonderful, peaceful setting. A perfect getaway in a lovely location with kind owners. We loved that it felt so private, but was only a few minutes drive into town for groceries etc.

Beautiful and quaint old cottage with all the modern comforts. Central to Connemara and Galway + Westport. 2 x double beds and a room with 2 singles, the cottage is just perfect for a family holiday. The upstairs rooms and bathrooms are big enough with the narrow stairs and slanted ceiling. You will be positioned on a sheep farm with mountain ranges around you. Close by in Clonbur, there is a great little grocery store and other shops for supplies. We had great hospitality from the owners who stopped by to make sure we settled in ok. We'd highly recommend this authentic little place to stay.

Clean , modern house , good Wi-Fi and Netflix for the kids . Great location to see the sights . Ivor the host was very accommodating. Oil heating ran out one evening and he popped around within the hour to replenish it . 5 beds , 4 bathrooms , so plenty of space for everyone. Really enjoyed our stay , will be back next year ☺️
