I love this property. It's so beautiful. Kitchen has a nice view of the ocean and the glass house is so cozy to chill in. Wish to have stayed longer in this property. Fully equipped kitchen and comes with washer and dryer which was really helpful. Check in from the nicely lighted shop/cafe downstairs and they will show you to your room. Free parking on site.

Even after reading all the previous, raving reviews, we were still very positively surprised - the apartment really has more than everything we could possibly need. Another “magical” plus, even with self-check in & out (by definition cold and person-less), Lucy somehow made it have a human touch. We have been travelling in Iceland for 3 weeks and have stayed in some outstanding (plus a couple of not quite outstanding) accommodations. The Lake House is by far our favourite. The view from the conservatory and the deck were exceptional. We decided to take a ‘rest day’ here to just enjoy the view, the peace and the hot pot. It was great having access to coffee, herbs and spices left by the owners to use in our meal prep. Access was very easy with the lockbox. The heating was already on for us which was greatly appreciated. Btw I loved the swans in the pond. 😂
