We loved everything with this house and the host, and wished we had booked more than one night! The house and garden was beautiful and it instantly felt like “home”. Close to town but off all the noisy roads. The rooms were good and had everything we needed, one with an ac. In the morning she came and made breakfast for us! We had forgot a bag 3h away with tuktuk, and they helped us with a driver who picked it up for us in just a few hours! This saved a whole day traveling for us and was more than we could ask for! Thank you! ❤️

Above and beyond expectations and previous reviews were great. I honestly don't know where to start. The place is absolutely EXCEPTIONAL. A beautifully designed villa by the stream. Large, comfortable rooms. Beautiful bathrooms. Super clean. The chef who prepared our meals cooked so deliciously that even when we weren't hungry, we ate everything. Every need, question, or problem we had was addressed immediately. We had massages on-site, and they were the best massages we've ever had in our lives! And we are people who regularly get massages. We also booked a yoga lesson, and it was a great experience. On the day of our departure, the staff washed our car even though we didn't ask for it. We are full of admiration and recommend it to everyone!!!!

Our stay was absolutely faultless and all of the staff were lovely. We had a wonderful relaxing stay with some amazing food! It was a beautiful location surrounded by nature, we saw so much wildlife and the noises of all the birds are amazing! The road to The Weir House was quite an adventure which we loved as we felt in the middle of the jungle but does make it harder to access. We visited Kandy in a tuktuk and it took us around 50 minutes but was a beautiful journey, the botanical gardens were stunning. From The Weir House we went to Yala which was an amazing journey with some cultural stops along the way, I would highly recommended our driver Pradeep (SN travel) who the hotel organised for us. Would highly recommend!

My family enjoyed the homey vibe of the place. The rooms and pool are clean and the facilities are exactly as what was published on the booking site. Nalin, the caretaker, was so helpful, pleasant, and professional. He really made us feel at home. He cooked delicious meals for us! It was a great 2 nights stay!
