Location! I was walking the Pietepad. It is a small detour, but arriving just in time to sit on the terrace and watch the sunset was amazing. It's a very cosy location, simple but clean. Nice that it has a kitchenette and that candles and lanterns are provided.

Het Nijhuisje is in a lovely, tranquil location, a hidden gem at the bottom of the hosts garden and surrounded by nature. It had everything I needed, and the breakfast was to die for! I know from experience, as I run something similar in the UK that if you're from a built-up area, and live a busy life this is a wonderful place to come and get away from the madding crowd, and the place to recharge your batteries. That is if you can bear to put up with only hearing birdsong, and odd clip-clopping of nearby horses.

My friends loved this place a lot. great value with lots of small and big amenities. The coal bbq was great, the space around the chalet was great and access to nature is above par. The hosts are nice and there are a lot of extra options for groups and couples. This is one of the last places where you can get this much value for this price. And don't forget the hot tub. That is what finishes this amazing relaxing stay for us. Easy 10/10. We will be back.

What a wonderful friendly and helpful staff. My father and mother stayed there for one night. They needed assistance as they are old and have some memory issues. The staff looked very well after them so they had a great stay in this superb location.
