Such a lovely place! Clean, well-furnished and comfy cottage. Quiet and peaceful environment away from the town centre yet conveniently near enough. Tracey and Colin are superb hosts, made us feel right at home, giving us useful tips on things to do and see. Wonderful to interact with their resident pets - dogs, chickens and horses. A truly excellent motel - absolute cleanliness and comfort, with incredibly attentive hosts. The breakfast was simply outstanding, and the whole place had such a warm, homey feel. We had a wonderful two-night stay here and were impressed by how convenient and welcoming everything was. The location is fantastic—right in the heart of Rotorua, close to shops, attractions, and dining, yet quiet and peaceful at night. The room was spotless, spacious, and had all the essentials we needed, including a well-equipped kitchenette which made it easy to prepare small meals or enjoy a hot drink. A thoughtful touch was receiving a bottle of milk at check-in for a cuppa after a long drive. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Parking was easy, and check-in was smooth and efficient. This is a great base for exploring Rotorua and relaxing in between adventures. We would definitely stay here again if we're back in Rotorua in the future.
