The location is superb. We stayed in one of 6 units so it’s small but feels just right. The hosts Shelley and Ross are very welcoming and helpful. Its position right by the beach of this quiet safe sandy bay was perfect. Understandable that kiwis book here. Lovely to walk the length of the bay at dawn or dusk. Outside grassy area and tables overlooking the bay with shade when it’s very hot. There are no bars, shops or restaurants in this area which makes it really peaceful. There’s a communal gas barbecue to use. Laundry room and drying facilities and you can borrow beach towels. Small onsite shop for essentials if needed but other shops are a short drive away.

Great location, walking distance to conference venue. Easy to find. So clean, it felt like I was the first person ever to use the room it was so clean. Extremely comfortable. Recliner chairs were a luxury in a motel. Was so nice. Free access to netflicks. Spacious bathroom really nice shower. Bed was so comfortable. The room was serviced every day, clean towels and sparkling clean every evening when I returned. Everything I needed. I felt very well looked after.

Absolute beachfront. Lovely clean and well equipped kitchen. Everything well maintained and clean. Even little things considered like feet cleaning stations, outdoor furniture, excellent welcome folder with relevant info. Friendly welcome and goodbye (included a quick tide check)

It was right on the sea shore. The sound of the waves on the shore was amazing. Staff were friendly and around if needed. Rooms were a good size. Bed comfy. Beautifully decked out kitchen, huge fridge, big stove/oven. Only 6 units, with different orientations, mean it is private and quiet.

Nice little accommodation and it had everything that you need for a short or even longer stay. Nice little kitchen and a proper size bathroom and bedroom. We wish we had more time to see the surroundings but we really only spent a night there. Communication with the owner was excellent and fast.

Amazing location to get away from the hustle and bustle of a busy lifestyle. Managers were very friendly and knowledgable of the area. Nice big kitchen. Lots of nice places to eat nearby spoilt for choice.
