We really enjoyed our stay in Kalix Riverside Inn. It is a unique family owned swedish place where a lot of effort and care has been put in. We stayed in the house on top of the hill with a shared sauna in front. Room and bathroom were very clean, decoration was very original with a great vintage taste and kitchen was super well equipped, including oil, salt, tea and basics which are always a really nice detail. The hosts are very kind, providing us many self made booklets of things to do around the area. Breakfast was great with views to the river and the bird life. We also loved dinner in the evening. Products are local and were delicious. We would really recommend staying here for an authentic nature experience supporting family owned businesses! Hopefully we can come back in the summer!

Petr is a very pleasant and helpful person, and he made me feel very welcome here. The house itself was very taken care of, it was clean, he had prepared new towels for me, the bed was comfortable, and it was nice and warm inside - something I very much appreciated as it was -20⁰C outside at the time. :D Overall a great experience!

On the banks of the river, this motel is in Sangis just 100 metres from the E4 motorway and 20 km from Kalix.

Very nice place, beutiful location, clean and tidy.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The owner is incredibly friendly and attentive, the rooms were spotless,. The location was perfect for getting around the city. I’ll definitely be coming back.

The house has a great location. close to the sea but also close to the main road yet very quiet. the house was very clean, spacious and comfortable. we were very happy with the communication with the owner and all went smooth. very recommended!

Very nice chalet, small but cozy. We were four so it was a bit small for our teenagers slept in the sofa bed and when it is open it takes half of the living space. Having a private sauna was great! Note there is only a little plug in stove and a little microwave. Nice direct view to the Baltic ocean arm.
