I had a fantastic stay at this homestay. From the very beginning, I felt at home—almost like part of the family. The hosts are incredibly warm and welcoming. The house is brand new, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. It’s a peaceful and cozy place, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. I truly felt cared for during my stay. I totally recommend it!

We went to Cat Ba and stay in the Kien Ngoc Villa just 2 days. Kien Ngoc Villa was really great, the apartment room is still very comfortable for 4. The staff there are very enthusiastic, The staff from the front desk was extremely helpful, he suggested us the Lan Ha bay tour and it was really worth experiencing. And they have swimming pool, It was a swimming pool garden view, it's pretty and we going to take a rest comfortably. The swimming pool is pretty, and it's good to take pictures because the lights come on at night. Oh, it's good to take pictures. The pool is big and I like it. I like it. I'm going to go. I'll use it again when I come to Cat Ba next time!

Though the homestay has been through a lot (due to the typhoon in September), the host, Happy, is exceptional and we see why others have loved it so much here! She made us feel at home and did everything she could to make us feel comfortable and well-treated. We were also obsessed with her dogs, Min and Moon, and the other various wildlife around the property! The location is quiet and peaceful, the beds were super comfortable and clean, and toilet/showering facilities were grand. Happy also made us traditional family-style meals which were absolutely delicious, and basically made from scratch, with veggies picked straight from the garden! Happy also can organize tours -- our tour of the bay was AMAZING and a very good value, too. I think for backpackers, it's a perfect stay, and the value for money is really good. Thank you so much to Happy -- we loved spending these three days with you!
