Set in the Portuguese Quarter with its many shops and restaurants, Clipper Boardinghouse - Hamburg-Michel provides apartments that are just a 5-minute walk from Hamburg Harbour. They include fully equipped kitchenettes, flat-screen TVs and free WiFi. Comfortable and stylish!!!! Everything you would expect for a self catering unit. This was like home away from home 🏡 . Very friendly and helpful staff. The unit is 100m from the Elbe river where you can get the hop on hop off busses and do a river cruise. Next to the famous St Michel church.

The apartment was spacious, very clean, well equipped and secure. We stayed for three nights, the host was very helpful and organised private parking for one car and public parking for our 2nd car. The location is perfect, easy to get around the city. We didn't make use of the kitchen facilities, but they looked clean and plentiful. The coffee machine was great. The apartment had a jack and Jill bathroom which was fine.

At the apartment complex, each unit is equipped with bed linen and towels. 11/10 apartment!!! really a great loft, very spacious, we were 6 (2 adults and 4 children) but the loft is more than suitable for 8. the apartment has all the comforts, a very extensive kitchen but also the small details such as soaps and things for the the kitchen. the level of finish is of an unprecedented high level. Worthy of a 5 star hotel. We really liked the location, on an area with some small businesses, a good base for us to explore the city and surroundings by car. All in all a hidden gem and highly recommended.
