It was the best breakfast and dinner I had in Georgia; I was served Kubdari, Khacapuri, different types of local cheeses, perfectly grilled potato with tkemali sauce, a type of taps with eggplant, fruits and lots more. As a cherry on top, they helped me to find a transportation back to Mestia at a fair cost. If I visit Ushguli again, I will definitely stay in this guesthouse.

Featuring a shared lounge and views of quiet street, Givi Kakhiani's Svaneti Guesthouse is situated in Zhabeshi, 15 km from Mikhail Khergiani House Museum. It is located 12 km from Museum of History and Ethnography and provides a shared kitchen. Guests can make use of the children's playground or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the garden and city. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The host was nice and the food was amazing, compared to other guesthouses. One of the best guesthouse we had in Georgia and the best one we had on the hiking trail between Mestia and Ushguli. We could even enjoy a nice garden with hammock, which was refreshing after the walk

At the guest house, some units are fitted with a kettle and wine or champagne. My sister and I arrived after hiking in the rain all day. We immediately took hot showers and then relaxed in our room with a really nice electric heater that felt great. This was our last night after hiking from mestia to ushguli and the food was the best meal yet. Our host made many different dishes and it was truly amazing. When we asked for a beer, she went outside in the rain and grabbed two for us. In the morning I wanted something extra for breakfast and she gladly got it for me. A truly great host that I would recommend.
