We originally had booked another hotel on Gili Air, but after one night decided to change due to noise from construction and rusty water filling the bath. Ari and his team welcomed us and had our villa ready within 30 minutes of booking. When staying on remote islands with limited infrastructure, I have found you typically have to temper expectations just a little, but this was not the case at Lasai. We were in villa 1, an absolutely beautiful room with cold AC, sparkling pool, soft and comfortable mattress, and plenty of hot water for a nice relaxing bath. The photos on the website don’t do it justice! Very well insulated so you can’t hear the Muslim prayers at 0400, and light blocking shades ensured a restful sleep. Daily breakfast was served in the villa and a filtered water cooler made our stay extra comfortable, and the mini bar had great wine and other soft drinks. No request was too much trouble and they always replied quickly via WhatsApp. Another review mentioned the ‘delicate’ robes. I wore the robe daily, it was SO comfy and soft, and very well made. This place will forever be our go-to on Gili Air!

It was a beautiful romantic stay for us, something about the salt air, the sand between your toes and a glass of wine with your loved one as you look at to the ocean that is hard to put in to words. We will be recommending this amazing cottage to all our friends and we hope to return again in the next 12 months.

Built in 2022, the property includes spa facilities and wellness packages. The villa features garden views, a sun terrace and a 24-hour front desk. Gorgeous property with ideal private villas. Cutest pick up in the horse cart and we had an epic snorkelling experience. Astrid gave us fantastic tips and made our stay absolutely perfect start to finish.

It is 1.1 km from Sunset Point, while Turtle Conservation Gili Trawangan is 1.2 km away. Free WiFi is accessible throughout the premises and bicycles are available upon request for an extra charge. The accommodations were comfortable and beautifully designed, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Loved the peaceful atmosphere and relaxing pool. Highly recommend for a tranquil and enjoyable retreat on Gili Trawangan.

The bungalow itself was charming and cozy, featuring a private pool and a two areas to sit and relax. One of the highlights was enjoying breakfast in our little private garden, next to the pool, which was brought to us each morning – a perfect start to the day. The hotel manager “Google” was incredibly friendly and helpful, always ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Additionally, the chef “Mr. Smiles” prepared delicious meals tailored to our preferences. Overall, we highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a serene and delightful getaway. The combination of beautiful accommodations, excellent service, and personalized dining made our stay truly special. For those complaining about their European-standards of cleanliness, keep in mind that this is ‘Island Luxury’ on a tiny island. Sand blows around and everything has ‘character’. If you want hospital standard hygiene, and a white-walled block, why leave home!
