What a charming, peaceful little spot surrounded by nature. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The place had everything we needed, from firewood to board games. It was the perfect spot for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway. Highly recommended!

For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. This was the nicest self catering house we have ever stayed in. Far better than any hotel. Brand new, spotlessly clean and so tastefully decorated. As it was December the house was also done up for Christmas inside and out with a Christmas tree in both living areas. You really couldn't ask for better.

Chris and Steph were amazing hosts! They left bread, homemade scones & jelly, and honey from their hives for us in the kitchen, and there was a small homemade soap for each guest. The cottage was comfortable, with great beds and lots of hot water, and had everything we needed for cooking our own meals there. Chris showed us around the farm on our last morning while he fed the animals, and we bought a few soaps from Steph before we left. They're delightful people who clearly love sharing their farm with others. There was a big storm one of the days we were there and we were cozy and happy spending time in the house, which is stocked with board games. The location was great for exploring the Beara Peninsula, which is stunning. We visited with friends who were visiting from America and we had plenty of space— this would be a great stay for families or groups of friends. Loved our stay and would definitely recommend.
