It’s a very beautiful house with an amazing and welcoming owner! We loved the location and the room, very big and as described! We will be back! Furthermore, the two cats around the hostel are just so wonderful it makes the experience even better.

This is just one train stop from Aso station, so provides easy access to Mt. Aso and the surrounding area. The kitchen is fully equipped (cutlery, pans, condiments, etc) and there is a small grocery store nearby to buy ingredients. Rooms are large, and there is a kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a japanese - style bathroom. The piano in the living room was a great and unexpected bonus. We were passing through and only stayed one night, but it would have been a great base to explore the Aso area and we would have loved to stay for longer.

Place is newly renovated and spacious. Futon was comfortable. Easy access - at ground floor. Not much noise even though just next to the street. Highly recommend.

We drove by the cottage the first time and stopped about 100 meters ahead. Then we were approached by some local people, one of which was the owners mother. They were super friendly and she guided us to the correct location. There was a nice big spot to park our car directly in front of the cottage. We had diner at the table outside and enjoyed the night sky. From here you have great views of mount Aso and also the surrounding edges of the caldera. Great experience and one of our best rural stays in Japan. Thanks to the owner and his mother for their hospitality and kindness!

Inn NOSHIYU ligt in de wijk Kurokawa Onsen van Minamioguni, op 40 km van Aso vulkaan en 48 km van Kinrinko Meer. Er is gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. All was good! The room was cozy and cute and I had everything I need. I stayed in room 201 and I think it’s perfect for one person. On the day checking out, they arranged a shuttle bus taking me to the bus station. Staff was friendly and nice.
