The hotel also offers free WiFi as well as a paid airport shuttle service. Loved that the kitchen was pre-stocked with everything we needed to make our first morning breakfast! I didn't realize this when I booked and pleasantly surprised. The beds were firm and very comfortable + 2 pillows per person, a luxury in Japan!

Taking my kid to Niseko for our first-ever ski trip was already a dream come true, and snagging a family room for the three of us last minute was nothing short of a miracle. The whole stay was top-notch, way beyond what I expected. The front desk was super quick and efficient, getting us checked in and up to our room in less than 20 minutes. We'd shipped our ski gear to the hotel from Haneda Airport a week in advance, and the fact that they could store it for us made the start of our trip so much easier. Big shoutout to the two cool guys working over the holidays who helped lug our bags up to the room. Our room wasn't a suite, but it was still spacious, clean, and cozy, complete with a mini kitchen and a washer-dryer. No bathtub, but the mini sauna shower room more than made up for it with a super relaxing shower experience. The studio layout with a 3-meter wide bay window offered an incredible view of the snowy slopes and streets outside – watching the snowfall from inside was just magical! There was also this super thoughtful 2-meter wide ventilated wardrobe by the entrance, perfect for drying out all our snow-soaked gear without making the room smell like a damp locker room, thanks to the heating. And I've got to give a huge shoutout to the front desk manager. On the day we checked out, February 6th, I had no clue you needed to book the bus back to New Chitose Airport in advance. Thankfully, the manager stepped in, called the bus center, and secured seats for us. Super grateful for their efficient and thoughtful help! Plus, they offer this handy service where you can ship your extra luggage to another location. We sent four big suitcases to Haneda Airport, so we could just head out with our backpacks, feeling a bit wiped post-skiing. This luggage shipping service was a game-changer!

Some rooms boast views of Mt. Yotei. Everything about this property was perfect. From the location, to the views, to the facilities...incredible. But most of all, the service staff here are just top notch.

The spacious chalet is equipped with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, bed linen, towels, a flat-screen TV with streaming services, a fully equipped kitchen, and a balcony with mountain views. Location super close to Hanazono - walkable in a pinch, otherwise 2 minute drive. You will need to rent a car if you stay here, unless you plan only to eat at the resort. Good access to restaurants and shops in Kutchan. The cabin is beautiful and warm. Love the all-wood construction, and all the cute accents with branches and sticks. The bath is comfortable, no worries about hot water, and the kitchen is compact and good to cook simple meals. The staff was helpful, friendly, and accommodating! Towels and bed linen are provided in the holiday home. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. The Soga House was an excellent choice for three couples on a ski vacation. It's a good location as long as you have a rental car. (We had two.) Parking was easy. The house is very comfortable. We appreciated that it had a deep bathtub and never ran out of hot water! We also used the washer/dryer several times, though it takes hours to complete a full cycle of washing and drying.
