The daily breakfast was delicious. The property is around 8 mins walk from the nearest convenience store, but being a bit far away from where all the tourists are was actually a positive point for me!

But it is quiet in the evening and night. The hot spring is amazing, larger than I imagined and the water are perfect We really enjoyed our stay.

The owner is super friendly and helpful. This accommodation has everything you might need. There were all the cooking utensils(rice cooker, several pans, fridge, Japanese cups and plates etc). The room was spacious and spotless clean. Kunisaki peninsula has so many beautiful pilgrimage trails, I would recommend this place for anyone who is interested to explore Kunisaki peninsula. Also only 30min by car to the famous Beppu area. Will definitely come back!
