It is easy to get to from the train station. Goggle makes it harder than it really is.

It was quite remote which we enjoyed after coming from the business of the city. The room was immaculately clean and spacious and was well equipped with amenities and cooking equipment. The view from the room and the huge balcony was beyond stunning. Would highly recommend staying here, and already have to many people! Would definitely stay here again and wish we had been able to stay longer.

At the guest house, the units have bed linen and towels. The sweetest couple running a jam and drink shop, which you’ll stay next door to. Close to a Lawson (3 min walk). The folks running the place clearly care about their guests and are very caring and kind. They provide tons of information about Hakata Island, and have curated a restaurant and map of where you can go for food since there isn’t too much on the island. We felt so cared for and looked after when we arrived after cycling for 4 hours in the pouring rain. Thank you so much for your kindness and we would happily return just to say hi and have more jams!

Great space and value for families with lots of room and kitchen well supplied (but bring your own tea+coffee). Lovely Japanese style rooms with tatami floors upstairs, cute sea themed decor. All very clean. Close to transportation,shopping, restaurants (Katsuya😋). Easy to get to Takamatsu Port and Ritsurin Garden.
