The bed is really comfy and the blanket keeps you warm during the night (it’s getting cold in Nuwara Eliya during the night, so you need it!). Breakfast is huge and really delicious. The owner is really cute.

Quite and safe place and away from the busy part of the area, wonderful views! Very huge space for our family of 5. The best view from the front balcony, which was our favorite spot watching as the sun rises. And the balcony at the back was amazing. The forest as well gives you the feeling of serenity looking at the tallest trees. The staff were really attentive and took care of us, very helpful. And that is the best thing you would want to have when you are in a home away from home.

I had forgotten to pack warm clothes, and they kindly provided us with some during our stay and for the visit to Horton Plains. Overall, this place is highly recommended for anyone who wishes to experience a local homestay filled with kindness and care.

Like you can spend the entire evening roaming around in the backyard where our host has been growing all sorts of fancy stuff ( strawberries, passion fruit, oranges… you name it). To top it all you get to play with Simba(shyest feline you’ll ever meet). I wish we were there for a few more days but definitely recommend it to everyone who is going to Nuwara Eliya

Even though we stayed only one night at Daffodils Inn for our Adam’s Peak hike, we really liked the place. Hiruni took great care of us — her kindness and attention made us feel very welcome. She even helped arrange a taxi for our return journey. We had a delicious vegetarian dinner and breakfast, and the room was nice, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was spotless with a good flow of hot water, which was perfect after our hike. Thank you for an amazing and memorable stay!

A special mention and heartfelt thanks to Taranga, the housekeeper, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable in every way. His attention to detail, hospitality, and genuine care made the experience exceptional — he truly elevated our time here. Overall, Croft Cottage is the perfect blend of charm, comfort, and luxury.
