The place well located for chasing aurora without going to far from the town. You can absolutely see the northern light above you outside from the apartment. But during our stay the KPI index is so low KPI 1 with low Bz/nt density so its there but we couldn’t see or catch a good image.

La propriétaire est gentille et serviable, la maison était nickel et un petit feu allumé pour notre arrivée, au top.

Situé en bord d’eau, l’Ersfjordbotn Brygge propose des services de location de vélos et de bateaux, ainsi que des excursions pour observer les aurores boréales. The location - great views from the balcony (we saw the Northern lights from there too), peaceful and quiet with easy parking right beside. Not far from the airport as well. Apartment is spacious and sufficient facilities.

The host text me that there was a renovation ongoing but it's does not disturb my stay there. The unit was surprisingly very nice setup inside. Everything seem to be very new. The bathroom was sparking clean, water pressure was good.

Generously equipped kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and living room. The wooden interior combined with the big glass fronts is wonderful - you can see the aurora even from inside (if you are lucky)

Offrant une vue sur la mer, l’hébergement Drengstua propose une terrasse et un balcon, à environ 25 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Tromsø City Hall. Great stay a bit outside of Tromsø! Renate and her husband are great hosts and it was super easy to communicate with them. The house is really good. It appears to have been refurbished (as least parts of it) but it is still a cosy traditional norwegian cottage by the mountains. The view from the house is incredible with the fjords. And if you're looking for a place to spot northern lights, this is the place to be. As it is outside of town (~25min by car), there are not many lights in the surrounding, so we could literally see the northern lights from the windows, from the balcony, and if you want a spot that is 100% dark, its just walking west for five minutes. I strongly recommend this place!

L’établissement Serviced Farmhouse - Kvaløyvågen Gård vous accueille à Kvaløya, à respectivement 37 km et 37 km de ces lieux d’intérêt : University of Tromsø et Tromsø City Hall. Nous avons passé cinq jours hors du temps ! Le lieu est exceptionnel, en pleine nature, entouré de paysages magnifiques, de rennes et d’aurores boréales. La maison est très bien équipée, confortable et offre une vue incroyable. Petter est un hôte attentif, réactif et toujours de bon conseil.

Situé à Kvaløya, l’hébergement Lena Apartment Tromsø offre une vue sur la montagne. Il comprend un jardin, une terrasse et une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite. Lena and Rolf are very friendly and warm hosts. They gave me lots of tips, for example for ski touring. Communication was easy and questions were answered quickly. The apartment is well and comfortably furnished, all the necessary things are there, the kitchen equipment is well equipped, I did not miss a dishwasher, you can easily do the dishes by hand. It is well heated and the bedroom windows can be darkened. The TV is connected to the internet via WLAN with a very good data rate. The location is central for excursions on Kvaløya. The bus station is about a 15 minute walk away, and there is a parking lot right next to it, even if it is usually full! Shopping at "Eidehandel", about 2 km from the apartment. When it snows again, the landlord clears the paths to the house and the guest parking lot next to the garage. The best way to visit Tromsø is by bus and not by rental car, it takes about 1 hour to get to the center. Search and book tickets with the Svipper app, approx. 2.40 EUR to 4.80 EUR (rush hour) per trip, depending on the time of day. The city toll costs about 14 EUR per entry by car, or more depending on the length of your stay! And there is no free parking in the city center. Ski tourers can find routes in the "Outdooractive app" and the North Norwegian "skiguide app", an offshoot of the "SKIDA app". In the apartment you will also find the DNT ski touring book "Vinterturboka Tromsø" - a great service, thank you very much!
