Clean and cozy villas, nice people were hosting us. They know so much about local nature and can share with you a lot.

The airconditions are working well, so it helps us with a humid/warm night in Iquitos. There's no hot water for the shower, but I don't want it, either. It's not far from Mercado Belén.

It felt like a secret jungle hideout, tucked away down a tributary of the Amazon. The hosts were adorable and treated me like family, cooking delicious meals for me, even taking good care of me when I was a bit poorly with a head-cold. I don’t speak a word of Spanish, yet we managed to communicate just fine and even had some interesting conversations! Thanks also to Enrique, my jungle guide, who took me on a fascinating kayak tour. This time of year the whole area is flooded, so it almost feels like staying on a boat! But there were also kayaks available if I wanted to get out and explore. Although for me I was quite content to relax, meditate and soak up the good vibes. Thank you Liseth and Wiler - I will certainly be back if I ever return to the area.

The apartment was spacious and clean, AC worked perfectly. The kitchen was sufficient for simple meals. It's a little farther away from the center but not more than 15-20minutes walking. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
