We had the top floor appartment with the french windows. The appartment is newly renovated and very clean and comfortable. Kitchen is well-equipped for cooking on the hob. It's a nice bright space. Bed is super comfortable, and hot water and wifi were both excellent. It'[s on a quiet lane located right in the centre of town. Highly recommended. .

Well run accommodation. We enjoyed our stay in a comfortable studio. We also enjoyed the terrace to have dinner outdoors at the end of a summer day. The pool was also great, including the view of the landscape from the water.

The apartment was truly exceptional. It boasted several key features that made our stay memorable: a seamless blend of modern interior decor within a historically significant building, a spacious balcony offering nice views, a central location, and wonderfully comfortable beds. It was an all-around perfect experience. Furthermore, its central location compensated for the absence of breakfast or dining facilities in the building, as we had numerous restaurants and coffee options in the vicinity. (there were free coffee capsules in the flat as well) For those seeking outdoor adventures, a short 20-minute drive would take you to waterfalls and natural pools, all accessible at no cost. What's more, I needed to work during my stay, and I was pleased to find a reliable internet connection and effective air conditioning, ensuring I could work comfortably during the day and then relish the local restaurants and sangria in the evenings. I look forward to returning to this beautiful place in the future! Probably bring the kids and choose the apartment with a whirlpool below us. It will be hard to get us out!

Extremely clean and tidy! Nuno is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about Sabugueiro and the customs of the region, as well as generous with his time. Good beds, good blankets, a lot of it fair trade. Sambuc'asa is warm in every way, and we can't recommend it strongly enough.
