The staff was easy to contact and very helpful in responding to questions. We were greeted by Angela who took us to the AJ office to check in and help store our luggage. Coincidentally, our room was ready so we were able to check in right away.

The staff were very friendly, helpful, nice and pleasant. The location was great - many convenience stores and restaurants in the neighborhood. Banks and Post Office are across the street from the hotel. MRT (subway) station and the night market are very close, too. You can get filtered water, brewed coffee, and milk in the hotel cafeteria all day long. The water pitcher provided in the kitchenette in our room was a nice touch (we took it to the cafeteria many times to refill water). And one of the days during our stay was my birthday - when we came back from sightseeing, there was the very cute birthday card from the hotel staff and a box of cookies on the table- that was so nice of them to do that!!

The apartment is very spacious - and was perfectly situated for our stay in Taipei. The building is right across the road from Beitou train station. This allowed us to explore downtown Taipei as well as some of the tourist attractions to the North and Northwest within just a few train rides. Also right next to the train station is the bus stop for regular tourist buses to Yangmingshan National Park. In the neighbourhood, you will find great Taiwanese and Japanese eateries and to top things off, there is a major supermarket just downstairs from the building. The perfect location for explorers. The host, JiiaSen did an excellent job providing us with instructions and giving us far more tips for food and tourist venues than we were able to follow up on. We will definitely be back.
